Either healthier eating and a bit more exercise is making me crazy hungry or I have no idea what happened. So far I had: B - oatmeal with raisins, walnuts and pecans, and two chai lattes L - 5 ounce burger party with 1 ounce of cheese, a whole peach and 10 strawberries, 18 pretzels M&Ms (blame the office for putting out a big bowl) S - carrot sticks and celery sticks with hummus I also have had at least 4 16 oz bottles of water Oh and its 3pm so dinner isn't until later.
I still feel like my stomach is empty and trying to eat itself. Any suggestions? What do you eat?
Breakfast: oatmeal, coffee Breakfast 2: bagel with one egg, two egg whites and hummus. Lunch: rice bowl with salmon, caramelized onions, red and yellow pepper and black beans Snack: sweet peppers and hummus, one chocolate short bread cookie
I'll probably be hungry again in about one or two hours.

We went out for breakfast. H and I got our standard order from our favorite breakfast place. I got stuffed biscuits and gravy (biscuit stuffed with eggs scrambled with spinach, onions, bacon, cheese, and peppers covered in gravy) with o'brein potatoes. H got eggs benedict with hashbrowns and we switched halfway through. So, I'm still full from that and it was probably enough calories for a week!
One chocolate bar donut. A plate of fajita fillings, without the tortilla.
Clearly that's not enough, lol
You.
I like your eating habits.
To round out the day I think we're having finger steaks for dinner, but I have no idea what is going with it.
And I'll probably finish out the day with some popcorn. Alcohol is likely, but we have puppy class tonight so that cuts into a prime drinking hour, lol
- green smoothie & coffee w/ Thin Mints flavored Coffeemate - plain oatmeal with cinnamon and chopped up prunes - tuna salad and crackers - cheddar stick - coconut pie (I went to chat w/ a CW in another dept & they had PIE. I couldn't refuse. Rude!) - green tea - Popcorners (popped corn chips) - lots of water
I had good intentions today, but it kind of went downhill fast. This is why I'm still chunky. lol.
explorer2001, do you like hard boiled eggs? I like to have one as a snack with some trail mix, or yogurt.
Everyone recommends egg but I have a mild intolerance. I can eat them cooked into things (breads, cookies, etc) but if I eat them alone or as the main ingredient, I end up sick.
uggh. midterms start at 8am tomorrow. need I say more?
B: 4 strips uncured turkey bacon, 2 hash brown patties. 1 cup cantaloupe. S: starbuck's iced coffee w/ skim L: grilled pork chop and baked lays. D: filet-o-fish patty (no bun) and a caramel sundae w/o nuts.
Total calories isn't bad (just under <1,500) but too much fat and sugar and not enough protein or calcium. I can't eat raw fruits (aside from small amounts of melon/ripe banana) or veggies per doctor's orders, but I typically eat more lean protein and less potato... and no gluten.
That's good eating for someone with 2 little ones!
My husband is still on paternity leave. Lol. This will be a different story next week when he is back at work!
Oh, I was so impressed! I was SO ravenous when I was breastfeeding. I wanted ALL THE FOOD and my baby was a jerk so I never got a chance to eat anything good-- just had to graze on whatever was around.

Oh yeah, I'm eating a ton. It's been amazing to have H home for so long so that I can cook! We will be digging into our freezer meals for sure next week when he goes back. Sigh.
In the interest of full disclosure I should add that I fully intend to have a giant slice of chocolate cake for dessert tonight.

I was too busy to get lunch, but fortunately there were some leftover box lunches from a meeting. i grabbed a portabello mushroom sandwich, but I took all the mushrooms off, making it basically a goat cheese sandwich. And a bag of potato chips and a chocolate chip cookie. And an an oatmeal raisin cookie. And lots and lots of Dr Pepper.

B-Coffee and bowl of honey nut cheerios L-1/2 burger with cheese and avocado from Cherry Cricket. Frings too! S-Handful of antioxidant trail mix D-Maybe the other half of my burger, but probably just a spinach salad
I'm 8 months pregnant and am not exactly watching my girlish figure these days, lol.
Not much actually. A breakfast burrito with one egg and some turkey and a babybel cheese. I eat very little for a day or two after my period; I think it's my body's way of offsetting having eaten all of the things in the few days before it!
