Friday: was supposed to be a 2 mile easy run, but we went to the Paul McCartney concert, and I realized that I didn't have enough time for that. So, I did a super fast 1.5 miles. I figured that was close enough, right?
Saturday: rest day. Truth be told, I was a bit hung over from the concert.
F and S: Nothing (We could call them "rest days", but that would be generous. I was just lazy and busy.) S: Ran 20 minutes straight for the first time ever! (Or, first time in 20 years.)
F: Morning dog walk, evening HEAT (crossfit, basically) class S: 3 mile dog walk/"rest" day S: 2 mile run per my 1/2 training plan...my plan technically has runs on M/W/Sat, but I adjust it for my group fitness class schedule. So I do T/T and then either Sat or Sun. As long as I get 3/week, I'm good.
Sat: 10.5 mile run. My friend wanted to do hills, the humidity doesn't bother her but I was dying.
Sun: Easy 30 mile bike...started off by myself but ran into some old friends going the same way so that was fun. It rained unexpectedly. I also went to a weight-infused yoga class. That was my favorite thing all weekend, minus kid-related stuff.
Fri: 3400m at masters, 5k run/walk Sat: Tried to get a 15 mile ride in before the rain. Got to 12.7 when a huge thunderstorm blew in and I had to call DH to pick me up Sun: Forced off due to work.
I am displeased with everything about this weekend's workouts.
