Lindsay Lohan Found Unconscious in California Hotel
Lindsay Lohan has been taken to a hospital after being found unconscious this morning in the penthouse of the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Marina del Rey, Calif., ABC News affiliate KABC is reporting.
Paramedics were called at 10:15 a.m. PST. Lohan is currently filming the Lifetime movie “Liz & Dick” in the Marina del Rey area.
"This prick is asking for someone here to bring him to task Somebody give me some dirt on this vacuous mass so we can at last unmask him I'll pull the trigger on it, someone load the gun and cock it While we were all watching, he got Washington in his pocket."
If she dies this will be the least shocking death since Amy Winehouse. Sad, for sure, since there was so much talent there that was completely wasted. I too blame her fame whore parents.
Lin is a hot ass mess. I blame it on her parents. They're both tools.
Her parents are a disaster. But my brief stint into modeling with PTS indicates to me that they are not at all the exception. I don't know how any child star manages to get out of puberty alive. LiLo's far exceeded her life expectancy.
I would like to know more here. Preferably involving crazy stage mommy stories from the other preshus little girls.

I don't even know what to say other than there's a whole lot of rewarding kids for behavior that is utterly completely compliant. It's very weird. The last "job" PTS went to was to model some toys for a catalog. We weren't the only ones there that day - we were modeling an ironing board and some other kids were modeling a toy kitchen, a toy clothes line thing, some other stuff like that. They told us to show up in "winter weather clothes" (it was May, I think), so we did, but when we got there, they decided they wanted everyone to wear dresses. It had been hard enough for me to convince PTS to wear winter stuff, now they wanted her in a dress. But there was a whole "wardrobe" room and they picked out a dress for her to wear. Predictably, she did not want to wear it. There was another little girl there and the photographer kept giving her jelly beans for putting *her* dress on. And then they wanted that girl to wear a giant bow on the side of her head and they gave her a jelly bean for agreeing to do that. Then she went and took her pictures and got a shitton of jelly beans for that too.
When they came back to get PTS, she was still refusing to wear the dress, and they like affirmatively withheld the jelly beans. Like, well, I guess you don't get any jelly beans. So, at some point, I finally was like, okay, this is stupid. She's not into it, we're leaving. So I told PTS we were going to leave and that she didn't do anything wrong and we'd stop and get a treat on the way home. She then changed her mind and said she would wear the dress which she did, but when they took her to take the pictures of the irony board thing she was supposed to pose with, they wouldn't let her play with it. Like they wanted her to stand next to it and not touch it. Again no jelly beans because she kept pressing the light up buttons on the iron.
It was so fucked up. She also crapped her pants and stunk to high heaven while we were there and I was like, this is not for us. All you baby models can have at your jelly beans. We're going to Walgreens to get our own. I never took her to another job.
There's also just an insane amount of sizing up that goes on in the waiting room for the photo shoots. It creaped me out the way other people were looking at PTS, sizing her up, trying to decide if she was going to "make it" and their kid wouldn't. DH wanted to do it to save money for college, but I just thought the whole thing was profoundly unhealthy and she'd be about 1000 times less likely to go to college because of it.
I think mominatrix' daughter did some modeling and her experience was similar.
There is no way to make it a healthy experience for the kids. Like you think, "Well we'll just do this to raise a little money for college." But there's just really no way to do that. You have to go all in.
oh. well that was much less fun "let's gawp at the crazy people" and much more depressing commentary on our societal values.

I'm more shocked that Brit Brit is still alive.
There is something WRONG with Britney, Inc.. I honestly think she is a puppet on someone else's money-grubbing strings because she lives in a bubble and when she is let out, it's veeeeeery scripted and awkward. She just seems lifeless and quasi-medicated all the time.

Yeah, without all of the surrounding information, I can't get behind the idea of guardianship for a grown person. Now, maybe Brit Brit really is a timebomb waiting to go off no matter how well-maintained she looks in public, but I get the major heebie-jeebies from the idea that an adult has no say in what happens to her.
