I don't think they've released it yet, I think that might be customary? Or maybe they just want a little bit of privacy as a family before they announce the name.

i wanted it to be a girl, but i'm glad it was a boy. yesterday was my little sister's birthday, and i would have been PISSED if she got to share a birthday with the future queen when she doesn't cafre about the royals/isn't in love with Kate like i am, lol
My bets were on a girl named Charlotte...I was way off. Not sure on a boy name, but I think having Spencer as one of the middle names would be a nice nod to Diana.
A girl I follow on twitter was expressing some MAJOR rage about the news coverage of this event. I was like "Calm the f down. It doesn't affect you. You can turn it off". I can understand people not caring about it, but is it necessary to go on rage rants? Like my facebook friend said (and I told my BFF pretty much the same thing)--Kate is a princess!! They have this fairytale thing going on and it is exciting and nice to hear about something other than depressing wars and baby North.

I agree. It's not that difficult to avoid the coverage if you don't care, so I don't understand why some people are so upset about it! They're a wonderful couple and I think they're a refreshing change, and certainly better news than some of the other things going on in the world.
I run the FB page for the news station I work for, and people are being so stupid about it. We get anything from "WHO CARES ABOUT THE STUPID BABY" to "WHY ARE YOU COVERING THIS BUT IGNORING WHAT HAPPENED IN BENGHAZI". Whatever.
I don't really get baby fever when it comes it celebs but I was hoping for a girl since they changed the succession laws. I thought it would be neat if the first baby after the change was a girl heir.

Yeah, this girl was "Hey @cnn, there was an earthquake in china! where's the news on that? THIS IS AMERICA" and "Shout out to all my mom friends who did this without a full house staff" "If they call Kate a hero, I'll scream". Girl isn't even a mom. She's just angry.
I'm following the Guardian's live blog. the writer is kinda snarky, I like it!

I am one of the people who was totally into the royal wedding and now royal baby. I think William and Kate are great, and seem very down to earth. I also LOVE her style. I was convinced she was having a boy, I can't wait to find out the name!
