Awesome!! 5 hours is a great stretch and a really good start.
One of the things we tried/did when Owen was being a complete screaming monster in the MOTN was to just get him up and play for an hour, especially if bedtime was turning into a big ol' ball of screaming.

I hope things continue to get better and better.
Oh that's good, because that's what we do too! Sometimes, it's just worth it to stop the screaming, get her up and out of the bed she's no longer associating with sleep, and go play until she's sleeping. Thank goodness this is what you do too! Thanks, Raynes!

No prob pretty lady! I think it was mala that suggested it?? When he's fighting bedtime I usually give it 10-30 mins, based on the level of crying. Sometimes he just needs a few minutes to wind down. If it's off and on whine-crying, we'll leave him for a bit. If it gets hysterical, we go in, and that's usually when playing ensues.
Lately he's been taking a while to fall asleep, but he's contentedly kicking his crib and just flopping around.
