My due date is technically 12/1 and the only things we've done are painted the nursery and bought cribs and a dresser (which still need to be put together).
I would like to have some stuff done by the time I'm having my first shower (at the end of this month), as my friends are hosting it at my house and I know people will want to see what we have planned for the nursery. That and I feel like it's one thing that can be done ahead of time so the sooner I finish it the less I can stress about it.
You may want to get started, but I would say you definitely still have time though.

DH put the crib together this weekend, and it's sitting in the nursery, but we still need to clean it out, and put beadboard up.. and find some decor. I know what i WANT but I can't put it all together.. I suck at interior design type things

We just started a couple of weeks ago...so at around 31 weeks. And we have more work to do than many other people since we have to actually create the room. But we're making good progress so far.

We find out the sex in 2 weeks, so I am sure I will want to start buying stuff. I have a bunch of ideas on pinterest already. I love decorating and I'm a planner.

To make you feel better, we have 98% of our stuff purchased including all the furniture, but the nursery has not been started, and honestly, haven't even gotten it cleaned out yet (though I'm starting that this weekend). Probably won't really get started until a few weeks yet. But at that point all we need to do is set up the crib and arrange everything, so I'm not expecting it to take long, maybe a weekend project.
I'm due at the end of October. H painted the nursery at the beginning of July (I had already purchased some decorations). We had the carpets cleaned 3 weeks ago and the furniture arrived last weekend. Now I just have the finishing touches to take care of.

I will probably start buying stuff and painting as soon as we find out the sex. I already have a ton of stuff picked out based on whether it's a girl or a boy, but I love interior design stuff. I've been thinking about this kid's nursery for years. LOL!
But ours still has office furniture in it, so I haven't really done anything in there yet. I really should start posting that stuff on Craigslist.
Or put it at the end of your driveway and see who picks the, up! Like my post yesterday on ML, I posted that we put our recliner at the end of the driveway and this is who picks it up, hahaha:
I've done that with the crappy stuff, but some of the furniture is actually really NICE furniture (like a solid wood oak desk with protective glass top) that I'd like to sell.
I did a lot of research right around when we found out gender. I had concepts for a boy or a girl, but nothing in depth. Once we found out she's a girl at 19 weeks, I ordered the linens I wanted because I didn't want them to sell out (I'm so damn picky I need to be proactive this way) and knew what kind of furniture and details I was going for, but then I was swamped with work so kind of did nothing for a while.
We also had to rearrange our office, and move a guest bed out of the baby's room, so I had several steps to achieve before I could really tackle the nursery. I took the month of June to do the bulk of it, a hiatus in July because of work, and now I'm wrapping up things like final artwork, the mobile, and washing her clothes. Oh and we have custom plantation shutters in the house, so those will be installed in like a week?? I'm due in Sept. So, I guess the bulk of my work was done when I was like, 25-28 weeks ish.
I started in April/may with painting and furniture ( 18 weeks ish) only because that's when I had help with my parents visiting me often since DH is deployed. They did all my painting which was a huge help and I wanted to take advantage!
I have been looking at bedding, decorations and furniture for a few weeks. We are in the process of finishing the basement so we need to wait for that to be done so that we can move the office/TV room downstairs and that room can be open for the baby. This should happen in about a month and then we need to get carpets cleaned and paint. I may order furniture soon in case shipping takes awhile. My goal is to have the nursery done by the end of September or mid-October.
The nursery is already painted (sage green too!) so that's done. And my changing table and dresser from when I was a baby is in there already. We will just have to paint the knobs. My H already decided on a theme which is one I'm totally on board with, and I think it's super cute he picked it out! So we are slowly getting tings together!

We haven't done anything yet, but order furniture. I'm 27 1/2 weeks. DD's room was painted at this point though last pregnancy. I would figure out your furniture situation because if you are special ordering anything, it could take a while. There was a glider we were looking at from Buy Buy Baby and they said it would take 12-16 weeks to come in and they were running at the late end of that timeframe.
I am almost 36 weeks on Sunday and my furniture still isn't in. I am freaking out but we were quoted 8-16 weeks which puts us up to 39 weeks. I am hoping it gets here soon but am thankful that the delivery person will be assembling it for us and we won't have to do that part.
We didn't find out DD was a girl until 20 weeks, but I started shortly after that. It was mostly complete by the time I was 35ish weeks.
This time, we have all of the furniture already, so I feel less pressure to start on it. I have chosen some bedding but want a second confirmation at the a/s that it's a boy ... then I'll probably order it and get started. I feel like there's less to do this time. I'm going to paint a bookcase and wallpaper the inside of the shelves, so that's my big project. Otherwise, we are reusing a lot from DD's nursery.
We didn't do anything until after our a/s - and even now (at 30 weeks) we're still moving non-nursery stuff out. We have a dresser, curtains, and a rocking chair...that's it. I hope to get it all set up shortly after my last shower (8/25).
We started buying /ordering the first things after the 12 week ultrasound and have just been working on it slowly ever since. We scheduled things to make sure everything is ready by 32 weeks.
I bought my crib crazy early, like I think I was only 10 weeks, but it was at Costco and a good deal/highly reviewed. I knew if we waited too long, it would be gone, and probably wouldn't be back for at least a year, if at all.
Otherwise I waited until around 20 weeks to get started in earnest. I wanted to paint while I still had energy, and give it time to air out (even though we did no VOC/zero odor paint, it still had a little bit of a paint smell). We bought the rest of our furniture around the same time.
Starting early-ish gave us lots of time to set things up, get things just so, have an organized place to put away gifts and clothes - now it's 99% done - just waiting on a custom mobile I ordered from Etsy, we'll see if it gets here before the baby

Well we started with a completely empty room so we didn't have to clear anything out.
I'm 24 weeks now, due in Nov. We painted about a month ago. We have 2 dressers in there now and I bought curtains but they haven't been hung. I have the rocker but it needs assembled. We also have the rug and a footstool. I think I have the lamps and small decorations too, but I haven't made final decisions on those just yet.
So, I feel pretty good about it. We really just need the crib and a changing station. We'll probably wait until after our shower (early Oct.) to buy anything else and wrap up the room.
We're moving in October, so the nursery won't be put together until then. In the meantime we're collecting pieces - mostly decorations, and we are getting the crib soon because I'm really paranoid that it's going to be discontinued before we can buy it.

We bought the crib kind of early, but we didn't do anything else like painting or even attempting to set things up until I was about 24-25 weeks. It's done at this point. I think. I keep reorganizing.
We completed my daughter's big girl room about 3 weeks ago, freeing up the nursery furniture. But that's all we've done. I have a serious need to get on it now, since I am 25 weeks and my daughter came very early, but we just don't have time. I'm hoping to at least paint this weekend or next.
I'm 20 weeks and I haven't done or picked out a single thing. I'm not going to paint, but the room is full of junk right now so I have a lot of cleaning out to do. My mom is getting annoyed with me for not buying things because she's super excited.
