1 - TrudyCampbell's post saying that she didn't know about Zofran until here. 2 - How happy I am to not be chopping onions right now. I'm making a (not THE) casserole that needs diced onion. I hit up the frozen section and grabbed a bag! I had no idea you could buy frozen, diced onions until PB. Mind blown, life forever changed.
So what did you not know until this place took over your lyfe?

I must have missed the chopped onions! I hope our store has them!
Seriously, basically everything I know about babies. I am so eternally grateful to the MOOKs on here (and everyone else too, of course - but the MOOKs had so many great suggestions during the difficult times).
And I did not know this about onions. It will change my life if we have them near me.

I knew absolutely nothing about breast feeding and I'm so glad for all the knowledge here because I would have quit 2 weeks in when things got difficult.
So many things, I am forever grateful for the RnP love on here.
I did not know bumpers were unsafe, or that we should wait to ff the car seat.
I did not know what charting or temping was.
I learned some things not to say to people stuggling with fertility, or who had suffered from a miscarriage.
On that same note, I learned what a chemical pregnancy is.
I have learned about a lot of things that I didn't realize were offensive (the word retard comes to mind).
All of these. So much about car seat safety. A lot of brands/stores have been exposed to me. Teething tablets. The need for good beginner shoes. And that it's cool (not dorky) and convenient to baby wear.
Just about everything I know about babies, but especially:
When we started having reflux issues as a newborn I knew to try eliminating dairy - fortunately it was just a lactose intolerance - and to try probiotics and gas drops.
Teething tablets and amber necklaces which I think have saved our sanity.
I knew absolutely nothing about TTC and am now fascinated by all the talk of temping, charting, etc.
I learned that chocolate covered potato chips existed. I WILL try them one day. I was looking hard at the Radian but my IRL people were Britax pushers, I found some Radian love on here and that helped me make my decision. I discovered the Anywhere Chair, the suit, the shorts and the lipstick here. I learned M wasn't the only baby who hates to sleep at night, while I don't wish that on others it is nice to know I'm not alone in my sleep deprived-ness.
I know there are more useful things that I am drawing a blank on right now. This is a great place to be full, of women with a variety of knowledge!
RE: chopped onions, I've never bought them frozen before but I DO buy them in the produce section!

That becoming friends with internet strangers is pretty cool.
That they make birthday cake oreos.
That not all dog food is created equal(TB days-memories!)
That when the nurses at the pedi's office tells you your son is having a hard time teething after projectile vomiting for three days, that they are wrong. He has a virus.
That is OK to have a cocktail/beer out to eat when you are with your kid. Cheers!
I learned sooo much! RnP saved my life, I learned about preseed (which I think helped me get pg), learned about all the gory stuff that would happen after giving birth (which I think saved my sanity). Carseat safety is another big one. And now the onions?! This is LIFE CHANGING. I never want to use a whole mutant ginormous onion and I end up wasting at least half an onion every week.
