I'm in the process of painting our entire house. It is a lot of work but so worth it! These are the colors I have so far. I'm going with a gray/blue/green theme. Here is Ada's room, living room and half bath.
Most of our rooms have Shaker Beige as the color. I'm not sure what the brand is. Caroline's room is Olympic brand, Cranapple. DH just painted our room and it is Valspar Mark Twain House Gray. We are in the process of picking a color for this guys room. We painted some boards with samples a few minutes ago. Here's two pics of the gray in our MB. I'm really happy with how it came out.
we have a nasty chocolate brown wall in our bedroom we still need to paint and the bedroom downstairs we still need to paint it is uber blue we need to also paint the 4th bedroom upstairs we are sloooowly getting stuff done
I am loving it so far! I love construction pictures. Is it 1920s? (Crap, I just realized I have to go pick up Max, I will be back later.)
Good guess, it's 1918! The original footprint was pretty small - one story Cape Cod-ish. The previous owners (who owned it for more than 50 years - I don't know if it was ever actually out of the family) added a second floor and extended the back of the house.
Wow, crazy! I was trying to figure out if it was a modified foursquare. Removing all those walls is going to be amazing! I can't wait to see what you do to the kitchen, too. You have to continue to update us, I am so excited for you!
I love our living room color. It's Behr Ashwood. If it wasn't night time, I'd take a picture. It's sort of a taupe color with a greenish gray tint. It looks different at different times of day. We have pretty neutral browns, greens, and reds in the room and it's a really warm color.

Aww, thanks! It's fun figuring it all out. $100k and we would be good to go, ha ha. We're not going to do much to the kitchen & bathrooms this go-round, but we have some ideas that I think will make them much nicer once we replenish our savings. But the flooring alone will make a big difference, along with painting the cabinets and removing that wall that closed it all in.
Living room, entry way, and when we get around to the dining room, are benjamin moore gray owl. G's room is a light blue, and we still need to decide on a color and paint our room. We are just leaving the kitchen and bathroom white, since we will need to paint everything white when we move out of the apartment.
The main living areas are Ralph Lauren "crabapple". Henry's room and a half bath downstairs are "Buxton Blue" which I am obsessed with. I looove that color, especially with our dark floors and white trim/plantation shutters.
