A few months ago I would have said no, but after seeing some of the stuff posted on FB, I've changed my mind. Maybe not the main couch but definitely a basement couch. It depends.

I would, I mean I use couches in hotels and beach houses and stuff. I would be totally judging the person's cleanliness when I checked it out, and want it to come from a pet free home.

I've done it in the past. I went to pick it up and I felt good about where it was coming from (house was clean, nice house). We had just bought our house and needed a couch. I didn't want to buy brand new because I knew my cat would tear it to shreds, which he did.
Our basement couch is from CL. It is a La-z-boy and in excellent shape. Came from a single guy in a nice, clean apartment. It was practically new. It's way more comfortable than the other two couches in our house...
Yes. Like not now, but I would have. We gave away a nice leather couch to a thrift shop this past year because we didn't have room for it and we didn't have a vehicle to take it anywhere. I didn't want to list in on Craigslist and possible weirdos come to my house. So, I think that there could be some decent things there... Then some crappy ones. I've also bought furniture from garage sales.
Couches and beds must be purchased new for me... everything else is fair game.
Think of all the farts that happened on that couch. (I just wanted to be different)
All of this...except the crib we bought off Craigslist. BUT they claimed to be attachment parenting types who only used the crib twice. I believed them when dad answered the door in a ring sling

Nope. Especially after the movie theatre beej thread--if people are doing those things in movie theaters, heaven knows what is going on on random couches.
