No. I will never eat them and they can't touch anything I'd ever eat. Every once in a while a random olive would be on my pizza and I would cut around it and throw away the infested part.
One of my favorite super salty tapenades is from Harry and David's. It's called green olive spread. Be warned though that if you open the jar you will eat a lot of it and swell up like a balloon the next day. Not that I've done that...
