It is fine and thin and I don't have much of it. I am constantly fluffing it to try to make it look like more than it is. That said, it styles reliably and looks professional like this. But I need a change - new color, new cut, new texture. Something. A stylist once recommended a body wave, but that sounds like perming and scares me.
I love your hair. It's so shiny and healthy looking. I feel you on the fine hair front though. I will often look at "inspiration" pictures but get bummed because I know my hair would never look like the picture because I don't have full, think hair
I've thought about getting a cut like this. But I'm not sure I want to go that short (especially with the humidity here)
I actually really like it as is, but you could maybe switch up the part to add a bit more volume up top? (Although really, you seem to have good volume) Or maybe add long, side-swept bangs?

I have similar hair and have had a cut like this. It was so cute and easy to style.
Do the folks recommending side swept bangs have them? I feel like they would be in my face and drive my crazy. Also how do bangs like that work with glasses?
I think some bangs would look great on you. I switch back and forth with my bangs. Right now they are on the long side, but when they are short, I don't think glasses look bad with them. I always have a bobby pin handy if I'm out and about in case it gets humid or I get wet because my hair is a little wavy naturally, so they look silly if they start to wave.

What about a color change?
I would do color change if you want something different -- low-lights or a single process to a slightly darker color.

We have the same hair. Even my natural hair color is the same, and mine is fine and thin as well. I definitely think you should do something with more shape. My go to cut is always an a line bob (shorter in back and longer in front). This is what it looks like now.
I've worn my hair like this for years, though, and I'm wanting something new. I plan to grow it out to actually look kind of like your hair, but then either do a body wave or a keratin smoothing treatment.
Here is my pinterest board, which has plenty of bobs and also some cuts that are more your length, as well as inspiration for body waves and hair color. pinterest.com/godawgs/hair/
Here are some cuts that I think would look great on you.
Bobs:
If you want to keep your length, I would either get a body wave or get a smoothing treatment and/or use a flat iron to make your hair nice and sleek.
I like this long bob
This hair is permed and I like it
If I get a body wave, I'm hoping to achieve a look something like this
I also think you should add some color, even if you just do some face framing highlights and especially if you keep it longer rather than a short bob.

I looked at your pictures again and definitely think you should so some side swept bangs. You can keep them regularly trimmed to stay away from your glasses (a lot of stylists will let you stop by for a free bang trim) or you can just pin them back if they get too long until you can make it for a trim. That's what I do with mine.

I also have fine thin hair and you have to be careful with layers. Layers work better with thicker hair while a blunt cut will appear thicker and more full.
Honestly, it doesn't seem like much of a change from what you usually do (the first pic you posted). Which is fine if you want something similar, just not sure if you're looking for more of a change.
I love the length and the bangs, but I think the body and slight wave will be hard to achieve. I think it would end up looking like what you have now but shorter and with bangs. And maybe that's what you want, but I don't think it will look like the photo without putting effort into giving your hair some wave every day.
Lol...it's very cute. When I find pics of celebs with hair I like, I try to find more pics from the same timeframe to look at how much the styling plays into my loving the look. For Brooklyn there, it seems like she has a nice long bob, but it is styled with a bit of curl. So yeah, I like it for you
I do love her hair but am too lazy to put much effort into mine. Does your hair work well with hot rollers? I wonder if that first look could be achieved that way. I don't have luck with them and have tried a bunch of times. My hair holds curl, but almost too well, and hot rollers never leave a pretty, loose curl even when I use the big ones. I always end up with a crazy looking curl pattern.
Haha. This is exactly what I do. I think her cut is super cute...If I decide to go for a big chop, I think I'll end up with something similar...with more bangs though.

We have the same hair, I think. The only thing that's really worked for me is lots of layers - right now it's long because I am lazy, but I loved this cut (and the color but too much maintenance!):
I kind of feel like the only thing that adds interest to my hair is long bangs. I'd go for it!
My mom has hair very similar to yours and a body wave worked magic. She went to a stacked bob two years ago and everyone raves about how young and casual it looks. I LOVE stacked bobs and had one, but my face looks super fat with short hair, lol.
