This baby is driving me nuts. At 33 weeks, it was head-down. At 34 weeks, it was breech. Yesterday at 35 weeks, it was transverse. I've got my doctor and doula trying to talk me down from the ledge because I'm moping around assuming this means I'm getting a c-section. Look kid, you're going to be too tall for gymnastics so stop with the uterus gymnastics now.

I was reading my mayo clinic book yesterday and I got to the part where they said I can eat a hot dog if it is thoroughly cooked. I did a little happy dance.
I think my gram is going back to the hospital. She has had tons of issues with eating since she had her baldder removal surgery and she is just not getting better.
The tech at my ultrasound this morning looked at me like I suddenly grew another head when I wondered out loud if baby girl is hanging out up higher these days, since her movements aren't as pronounced and there's some real padding in the way between my stomach and anterior placenta. I looked back at her the same way, lol. She was not very friendly at all.
I think we officially have a little ham on our hands already, or at least one curious baby. We've gotten TWO profile shots so far - and today was my ninth u/s - all the rest are her looking right at us. It cracks me up.
I'm so happy it's Friday. I have to work five hours tomorrow, but I don't even care - this week is over and for that I am thankful!

My baby keeps flipping around too. It's different every appointment.
TGIF! I have a really clean house because my husband helped out last night, so now I can focus on more important organization projects, and the baby room. Yay!

I posted on MMM Funky Fetal Friday, but I'll repeat - I THINK I felt the baby move last night and this morning. There's a tingly feeling on my right side and I don't think it's gas or cramps. Last night, around 2am, it hurt a bit, but was intermittent like I was getting kicked.

Squeee!!
I think I'll make the nursery rug work.
I was just coming to post something similar! Last night I felt a weird feeling in my stomach, almost like being nervous/butterflies, and I wondered if it was the baby moving. I got a bit teary over it. I've been struggling all the way along because I "know" that there's a baby in there but I'm secretly terrified that there really isn't. I think I have issues.
My extreme fatigue has finally lifted and now all I feel is panic about getting baby items. 3 weeks until we find out team pink or blue and it seems like it will never come.

I went home early yesterday because I wasn't feeling well and ended up passing out on the couch. I woke after 2.5 hours, then had difficulty falling asleep again because of the nap. And now I'm back to being tired.

i have ever so slight menstrual cramps. i've read on almost every forum/website etc that this is a good sign for labor. they definitely aren't like contractions yet and I know that I can go on having cramps for weeks but dang it if I'm not excited, for once in my life, to have cramps!

After 9 mos of checking the tp for spotting and being grateful when there wasn't any (yes, I STILL do that!) I am now eagerly hoping for my bloody show lol I'mmmmm ready baby girl. Let's get you born here soon!
Last night we had dinner at our friend/neighbors' house (a friend from hs and it we ran into each other; turns out we live a block apart!) and their 2 year old daughter kept putting her hands on my belly and going "baby? baby??" and then at one point she lifted up my dress to try and see where I was hiding the baby lol So. Damn. Cute. She was so confused.

I THINK I felt P kicking around last night. I took a bath and while I was laying in the tub I felt some solid thumps. It was bizarre, but YAY if that was really here.
I got off work super early today; my boss is thebombdotcom - he knew we are headed OOT for the weekend and let me leave as soon as our patients were gone. My little dog is currently LOSING HER MIND bc she knows we are leaving. She's pacing, barking, and panting. She LOVES car rides..
I can't WAIT to see my H. He's been OOT this week and I'm missing him baaaad.. and he's gone next week too. boo
I had my first appointment today...baby looks great! They changed my due date to my LMP so I am 8 weeks 6 days, even though the measurements showed exactly what I was expecting for due date.

Baby kicks are the best!!! Now that he's stronger it's fun to feel him kick and watch my belly move a little. DH can feel him now too
I am at the beach and its an awesome beach day! DH is meeting me here after work with dinner

I got my beta numbers from my nurse practitioner yesterday and the more than doubled in the 48 hours! YAY! I am still on pelvic rest until she sees in in two weeks (sorry dh).
I was also told to "lay low" when I was in for the spotting on Monday. I had been exercising every day and then had to just stop. It's driving me insane. I think I am going to start taking walks around the neighborhood where my office is at lunch. It's pretty flat so I can take an easy walk but still feel like I am stretching my legs until I get the green light to do real exercise again. I want to go back to ballet class!!

I'm starting to have a really hard time being PG and caring for a 4 and 3 yo. They wear me out and I'm so sore by the end of the day. Yesterday they were playing around and came running at me to give me a hug and one jumped on my leg and it pulled my groin muscle. I can hardly walk. I keep telling myself only 2 more weeks till school starts. Ughhhh :/
Had yet another internal this morning...first one that actually hurt. Doc is super gentle so I dunno if he just has huge hands or what but holy hell! Still no further progress (I'm 1cm and 50% effaced). Get to officially stop the meds next week for the pre-term labor. Not that they've been doing much to help, since I'm having a TON of contractions, cramping and pressure.
I'm painting our old crib white for baby girl. Finally finished priming it yesterday and started to sand and paint it today but then it started raining and ruined my fun. I was hoping to have it done this weekend but now I doubt it. Boo.
I'm eating my weight in watermelon today. DH got me a HUGE one this week and I am literally breezing through half of it right now. SOOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!!
I'm feeling pretty crappy today. My dog decided that 4:45am was a perfectly reasonable time to start whining for her morning walk (it was still dark out too!). I also feel super bloated and gross and the baby kicking is way, way lower than she was yesterday, which freaks me out. I was just getting used to those rib kicks and now she's way below the belt. I wonder if she moved or flipped around recently or something?
I'm definitely in the get this thing out of me phase. I'm giving it another week but then I'm starting the home induction methods that don't work. I'm so flipping uncomfortable.

I had this happen last night too. Babies are typically kicking me up toward my ribs, but last night as I was going to bed it was more near my pubic bone and I was like "what?!? Get outta there!" It threw me for a bit of a loop.

I felt movement right around this time. A lot of people say its just gas, but now that I know for sure how it feels, I KNOW I felt her once on Father's Day. I was really full and my clothes were tight and I felt one little throb. I did not have gas or indigestion
I felt her for sure again around the 4th of July and the last two weeks it's enough that I am starting to find patterns in her movements.
So happy for all of you who are feeling movement. It's pretty cool. Now I just wish my H could feel it. He still can't.
Awww, congrats to those feeling first movements! That was a really fun time. I don't think my H was able to feel him from the outside until 24 weeks or so?
My random is that the shower for my side of the family is tomorrow! I'm so excited!
I don't think I am going to do a nursery. We just bought our house and moved in, and the projects are lined up. I freaked over the nursery the first time, but it seems pretty low on the importance scale this time. Especially since I know she will be in our room for at least 5-6 months.
Baby is a girl, and DD is so excited and begging to share a room with her sister. We will see if that works out by the time we want to get her a room.
I have an anterior placenta, so still haven't felt baby move which explains a lot but kind of sucks.
I am getting nervous that I am not feeling movement/kicks like I should be. I can feel movement, but not big kicks and nothing that can be felt from the outside. HB was good at the last appointment and I can bring it up with my doctor at my next appointment in a little over a week, but I'm still kind of nervous about it.
J was off work yesterday and Weds and it was amaaaaazeballs. Not only did I get to go on my first pp run yesterday but I got to go to ON and try on nonmaternity shirts ALL BY MYSELF. And go to the grocery ALL BY MYSELF. After not leaving the house 100% alone for a full four weeks, getting to do these things was awesome.
Even more awesome is the fact that J and AJ got to have some man time, AND AJ takes bottles of pumped BM like a champ.
But the most awesome thing is the glass of wine I got to have at dinner with my main men on Weds night. It was my first full, non pg sized (meaning half the size of my usual glass of wine) glass since November and it was pure bliss.
Now, time to count down the days 'til J's next day off. Which is next Wednesday. Damn restaurant manager schedules!
Strept throat is going around work like crazy. In my class, 2 of my co workers have it, I am the only one who does not. I have a white spot on the back of my throat but I ma pretty sure it's just a canker sore because I always get them after I eat sour candy. I hope I don't get it
I've been feeling movements since 16 weeks and they've always been low, but lately it has been all over the place. One kick would be near my pelvis, the next one would be near my belly button lol. I wonder if I am feeling the elbows or hands too? Would that make more sense?
I LOVE watching my belly move with kicks. H felt it for the first time at 17 weeks.
I'm so excited, I really really really want the oriental salad from Applebees so we are going there tonight. Fancy!

I felt the same way. I have an anterior placenta and was told at about 24 weeks it shouldn't be an issue and I should be able to feel him move more. At my 26 week appt I brought up that I couldn't feel him a lot. I felt him roll around occasionally but not kicks. So I had a follow up ultrasound and he scored and looked perfect. And still up until 2 weeks ago, I still wasn't feeling him. Now I can actually see my stomach move and feel hard kicks and punches, finally at 33 weeks. Everyone and baby is different, I'm sure your little one is fine.
