Ok, it's just a mini tri. And ok, it's at my gym and is silly. I'm still nervous and excited and I really want to do well! It's all mixed up and weird. Spin for 30 mins, run for 20 mins, swim for 10. Any tips for me?
Done! Bike - 30 mins - 14.5 miles Run - 20 mins - 2.1 miles Swim - 10 mins - 22.5 lengths
Thanks, you guys :-) It feels funny to call it a real tri when I know it's not, but I'm totally taking it seriously. I've been training for it for weeks. I even learned to do a flip turn! I also got swimmer's ear :/

Tris come in all distances. You're swimming, biking, and running. That's a tri. Don't put down this accomplishment! Be proud! Everybody starts somewhere.

Ironman is not the definition of triathlon. Must someone run a marathon to be considered a runner? I am not special because of Ironman. Do not put me on a pedestal. I am no more a triathlete than someone who prefers the short stuff (which, by the way, is really hard to do well!). So, enjoy your triathlon and becoming a triathlete!
