Though I am laughing at the difference in their expressions. The older is a bit "yeah, been there done that." And the younger is all "This is so exciting!"

ninjabridemom yes! it's noah's first day at his new school. however, he decided not to go IB. a few weeks after he accepted he was offered a spot at a regular high school that has an IT program. he felt that he would be more successful in a non IB setting. it was a hard pill for me to swallow, but a good lesson in parenting and letting go.
@astrid, giant is a relative term since i am so effing short. he outgrew me when he was in 5th grade. he hit the 6 foot mark a couple of months ago. i kind of think that maybe he's done growing? or, at the very least, slowing down quite a bit.
@imback, i found them on pinterest! i can send them to you if you'd like. they go from pre-k all the way to 12th grade. i'll probably forget to use them ever again, but the sentiment is nice.

"You. You and your crazy life. You and your geographic anomaly. You and your drunken lesbianic ways and terrible navigational skills." - ProfArt and her holy baby
"Why would you ruin perfectly good peanuts by adding candy corn? That's like saying hey, I have these awesome nachos, guess I better add some dryer lint." - Nonny
He is so tall! My oldest daughter starts high school next year and my son starts middle school. I am taking that day off and drinking lots of wine to help keep me in denial that my kids are growing up. lol
