Newbie here, but I could certainly use new friends in this city. I moved to Dallas (Rockwall, specifically) in June, and didn't expect it would be this difficult to meet new friends. Working from home probably doesn't help though - I'm becoming quite a hermit these days!
I get that this might be weird though, since you know nothing about me and this is my first post on these boards. But if you're willing to meet a stranger, I'd be game for GTG. I promise I'm not crazy... perhaps just a bit socially awkward given my limited opportunities for social interaction lately!
And of course, if y'all do this on a weekend, I'm in. M loves that place. And I love it because it wears her out and I get to sleep in a little the next day
I'd come on a weekend too. I think my girls are just a little younger than your M right?

Just east of Dallas. I'm not familiar with Central Market, do they have a play area?

They do. Its in Southlake, off of Southlake Blvd/Hwy 26. The playground is great- I started taking M there when she was 11mo. She was barely walking, but was able to play ok on the playground then. We have continued to go, because there is a ton of seating, they have live music on Saturday evenings and serve food/beer/wine. And its completely in the shade in the afternoon/evening because of the side of the building it is on. We love that place.
Do know- the ground is covered in these rubber chips- which, if your kid falls, means they don't get hurt. But they rub off black grit/dirt on EVERYTHING. So don't wear white. And if your kid tends to eat random thing, like mine does, you'll want to keep a close eye out. Its like filthy gum to them. lol
jillianashley6 we must live pretty close to eachother! I'm about 5 minutes from that Southlake CM. We should set up a playdate.

Sounds fun! Let me know when works, we're pretty flexible.

We definitely do! I'm actually in Keller, but Southlake has so much cool stuff that we are over there a lot Lets do that soon! Are your girls walking? If they are up for a playground, we can definitely do CM. Or if they aren't we can gtg at a house (yours, mine, or I've heard rumors that idoinjuly has a fabulous step 2/little tikes collection lol) or we can figure something else out. But they can all entertain each other while we chat I'll pm you in a minute with my fb info so we can catch up there, if you're comfortable with that!
Lol, I hope it lives up to the hype whenever you do come over!
