We still use the Angel Care sensor pad. I won't lie... It's because of my fear of something like this happening. I tried to give it but but couldn't and had to put it back in. I will probably be using it for some time - even when he transitions to the toddler rail in his crib. I want to know when he is getting in and out if bed( because if the dresser falling in top of that little girl).
This is all so sad. I hate that this stuff happens. I wish they knew why!

Lola, can you get the pad separate from the monitor? I have a monitor I like but I want the pad for the next baby...even though I have the Snuza. I want both!!
I have really bad anxiety over something happening while he is sleeping so I love the Angel Care. I do t think any of this can be obsessive if it helps ease anxiety.
I'm in tears too. I'm so sorry for your friend and her family. Wow... just horrible and tragic and incredibly frustrating that it's so unclear what caused it (not that it would help but perhaps provide some closure at least at some pt...)
