Breast Pumps (extra help if gotten through insurance)

For those that have pumps or knowledge in them. I just called the vendors today that our insurance company will cover a pump through and they are for the most part the same few pumps that each offers through my insurance. Only one company offers a Medela which is kind of what i'm leaning towards just based on reputation of the name. 

The ones I have offered to me are: 
Lucina Melodi Advanced
Rumble Tuff Double Electric
Lansinoh Affinity Pro
Ameda Purely Yours
PLaytex Double Electric 
Medela Advanced Personal Double electric 


The Lucina one looked pretty interesting but I have never even heard of them before. Anyone have any input or experience?

I hear good things about the purely yours, but the Medea seems most popular. My friend has a lansinoh and hates it.

I had avent last time and bought Medea this time.

I have heard the ameda brand is good, and that is what my office uses in its pumping rooms so I will be using that at work when I got back. Right now I am renting the medela Symphony and I am happy with it and the other medela brand stuff I have .

I have only heard of the Medela and the Ameda and both are well-reviewed. I went with medela b/c if i figured if i have any trouble with it, more people will be familiar and it will be easier to get good advice, parts, etc., but i seriously considered the ameda, as well.

I would probably go with the Ameda Purely Yours, but would be tempted by the Rumble Tuff for the name, LOL. Who comes up with that for a breast pump?

I've heard the medela and ameda are great. i got the medela. obviously i'm still pregnant so i haven't used it, but i'm excited.

I got the ameda purely yours. It arrives today, so if you'd like and haven't decided yet I can review it once I try it out. I've heard good things about that one and also the medela.

Awesome, thanks for the input ladies! I still have a while until I can order one as our insurance says baby has to be here first before placing the order. But I'm making notes!
