i feel like a house. i was this size just before L was born. also, my shoes are attractive round-toe wedge platforms, not some sort of weirdo boot thing. they look so odd in the photos.
the striped top is really cute, so is the scarf. it's the pants that don't fit right. they are too low, which is giving you a pooch.
I was thinking this, too. You need new jeans! Something with a higher waist. I really like the top and the scarf together, it's the jeans that are messing it up.
the necklace is a no. the top/dress you are wearing with it doesn't fit right either (which i know you didn't ask, but there it is)

the outfit today is also ill-fitting - that shirt is too big and it's a wee bit too long.
I know the dress doesn't fit. It's old and I got fat! I just wanted to show how I would use it. Formal like. But I've also thought of using it with a white tee and a fitted navy blazer.
The other thing is the jeans aren't low-waist. I would need ones up to my belly button to hide my belly.

A lot of my jeans come up pretty high and pretty near my belly button. I think it looks better that way since I hold a lot of weight in the middle. You'd be surprised! You should try them.

I don't hate the necklace, but I like costume statement pieces. I don't think it works if you're wearing it with an outfit that needs diamonds or nice jewels. Does that make sense? Like it needs to be obvious you're not trying to pretend it's a diamond necklace.
imback, I agree about a higher waist. If my pants sit too low, then my pooch is accentuated. The other thing you could try is shapewear (high-waisted undies or a smoothing tank). You just need to make sure that your shirt is long enough to cover it up! Otherwise I like that striped shirt and scarf. And I like the necklace, too, but agree with what buddha said about it.
Tell me what your jeans are and I will check them out/find them try them on. I'm keeping the pants and pink top since I've already worn them.
You're going to have to try them on like the rest of us, lol. I have to try on 20 jeans to find one that I like. I do Joe's for skinny (these are not known for being high waisted, though. I found a pair that worked), NYD (I'm loving these less lately, but they definitely come up higher on the waist), I also have a pair of Lucky's that I really like.

Team high-waisted pants. I carry a lot of weight in my middle, and my jeans are up high to keep everything in and smooth. If they made jeans I could tuck under my bra, I'd do it. I'm looking forward to being an 85-year-old man.

Thank you!
No problem! I also have a very short torso, so what works for me may not work for you, which is why you to try so many damn pairs on.
Also, no one wants to see me in my uniform. I usually just wear regular clothes to and from work. No OOTD for me today, but I will AW the scarf I bought yesterday. It is brown and orange with orange skulls.
