They just played a free concert at the MN State Fair and I kind of wanted to go. I mean, we went to see the free Wilson Phillips concert last year, so I thought it could be a yearly tradition of seeing a free concert of has-beens.
You know? They are kind of a child star success story. They saved their money and turned it into more money. Don't appear to be crackheads, etc.
I saw a blip about them on tv. They are financially responsible and seem to have managed more interesting careers than most of us.
My H played a show last year in a theater where Hanson was on the main stage (and H's band was in the, uh... auxiliary area). They all hung out in the theater bar after their respective shows, and he said that old Hanson and young Hanson are actually really nice, down-to-Earth dudes. He did not meet middle Hanson, so he had no report.
Then when they all left the theater to hit another bar across the street, there were still lots of ladies outside the door waiting for pics and autographs. The Hanson bros stayed until every lady got a photo or autograph, which I think is pretty rad.
