i haven't yet had to make this decision with catballs, but one thing that gave me comfort when i thought it was imminent was to remind myself that she doesn't understand the way we understand, and so the only way for me to be CERTAIN it wasn't too soon, was for it to be too late. and that certainty would be at the cost of her comfort.
I talked to the vet for about 20 minutes this morning and we are going to go ahead with our original plan of putting her to sleep. We go in at 4:30. He's awesome.
She looks horrible. She did sleep with us last night, I got her to drink a little water today but now she's hiding in the bathroom on the mat:(

When I had to put Cleo down, she kind of went through something similar and it was heartbreaking. I am so glad that you have wonderful people with you and her. I'll be keeping you all in my thoughts.
