LOL @ wise_rita. I'd love to see her (or anyone for that matter) pass up a $20 round trip ticket to Hawaii. She's just jealous she didn't score one, too.

I'm sorry you've had a shitty year but give it a rest with the bitter talk.
If you notice the shop girl turned her back, by all means, go ahead and walk out of the store with that sweater if it makes you feel better. They knew full well they were risking theft by not putting an ink tag on that thing!

Horrible analogy. She noticed shop girl was selling really nice shirts for $5 that typically sell for $50 and she decided to buy a few. Shop girl realized her mistake but felt it was worth to honor the price versus losing a customer(s). You are making this out to be a much bigger deal than it is.

I don't know if it is nation wide or just my state but we actually have a law here that if something is priced wrong not only do you have to honor the price you have to refund the 5x the difference up to a certain amount. If any random retail establishment has to honor prices even though it was an employee screw up I don't know why an airline wouldn't too.

Most online retailers (including airlines) have a disclaimer in their terms of service that states that they are not required to honor incorrect prices due to mistakes on the website. No idea if that would hold up in court, but I'm not willing to risk the court fees to find out.
