According to the article, others men have asked for courtship with all the older girls, but this is the first one that Jim-Bob has approved because the others weren't having enough ministry or something.

Oops! Sorry for the broken link! Thanks for providing a clicky Raggedeannie
I also think its interesting that he's 18. I thought part of the courtship was being able to provide for the girl/support her. I wonder what he "does."

Courtship is such a strange concept to me.
There is a guy in my office who just started courting a girl. They are in their mid 20's and he still sat down the father to ask permission to court her, and they later sat down with both sets of parents to determine the boundaries of the relationship.
Mom and dad are part of their txt conversations? Sooooo weird. Even that surprised me bit, even for the duggars
I'm surprised they're letting them text/that the kids are allowed to text in general. I vaguely remember (perhaps incorrectly) that when Josh and Anna were courting they would talk on the phone with some of their siblings on the line as well so it would be a big group convo. Someone feel free to correct me if this is wrong.
These people must have the emotional maturity of an eight year old. How on earth can you be independent married adults if you have been treated like a child until you say "I do."
Lets just hope they don't expand their side hugging into hand holding. Remember when Anna and Josh used to basically have hand sex? It made me so uncomfortable I could barely watch.

Hahaha maybe they dry humped during their hour long hug. Changing it up a bit.

I want to know what the wedding night is like for these people. What's it like to go from zero to 60 in one night? They have no idea what they're doing.

I hope they know where to stick it. I mean, if it even gets that far.
I assume there's a lot of prayer beforehand and afterwards. I wonder if they scream "Oh God!" when it's really good?
I'm back on my pain meds, so my filter is completely gone.
You must have missed Jim Bob's pep talk to Josh on his wedding day. "It's kind of like Legos."
That was one of my top 5 favorite moments of television right there.
