this is me. but at 4AM. except I have to pee. then I go right back to sleep. so I guess really nothing like what you have going on at all. but I'm pretty sure H is ready to throttle me because his alarm goes off at 4:30 AM and I'm nearly positive he wakes up when I wake up.
ANYWAY, the 4AM wake-to-pee used to mean I wasn't going back to sleep (at least not until 15 minutes before alarm was to go off), but I started just peeing as quickly as possible, not turning on any lights and going directly back to bed. also, tried to curb my liquid consumption before bed time to prevent the waking in the first place. so, if you are getting up because you have to pee you might try cutting off liquids a couple of hours before bed.
It's not an alarm clock for Nature's Call so much as it is an internal anxiety reset that snaps me awake to think about all the crazy shit that's going on at work. If this keeps up for another week I'm going to have to see about going back on klonopin :^)

When my husband got up in the middle of the night last night and had to turn on the light to pee, thereby waking me up, I lay there contemplating how nice it was to be female and not have to aim so that I can pee in the dark.
