If I had more time I would consider making all our crackers too, cause I'm crazy like that, lol.
I hope to bake two or three times a week now that the kids are in something. I like baking. It makes me feel accomplished and I love eating my creations, lol.
Easy cracker recipe, taste like cheez it's! 3/4 lb shredded cheddar cheese 1 oz Romano cheese 1 1/4 cup flour 1 tsp granulated garlic 1 tsp salt 2 tsp cracked pepper 1 stick cold butter
Put the butter in your kitchen aid on high with the paddle for two minutes until creamy
Add the cheeses med high for 1 minute
Add dry ingredients on low until combined then bump up to high, until dough forms and pulls off the sides until the sides are clean.
Roll into 1/2 inch logs, refrigerate for a half hour, slice thin and bake for 10 minutes until edges are golden. Crackers should be crispy once cooled.

My husband keeps TALKING to me, but I have to finish marking some quizzes. So I think I'm going to run down to school early and do them. Even though I don't actually have to leave for an hour. SHUT UP CHATTY CATHY
Controversial works of art this week and next, in class. Today it's public art, so not too uncomfortable. But next week, it's Piss Christ and Mapplethorpe! I love their faces when I show them the S&M pics hahaha
The mouthpiece to my nebulizer tastes like soap. GROSS
((hugs)) to all that need them. There's a lot going on today!
I just got caught up on MAJOR office drama at my old company concerning my old boss. Boss basically turned into crazy bitch and harrassed the group one by one until we either left or were "beaten" into submission. She went after the last "original" member yesterday... who took it all to HR. We've been told to expect an email/phone call from HR wanting our sides of the story as well. I'm just glad I get to see how this all goes down from the outside.

Thank you! I am going to copy&paste and make these soon. So nice of you to share this recipe.
Its my anniversary. DH and I have been married for 4 years and this is the first time I've seen him on our anniversary and it was for five minutes before work. He has class. The other 3 years his job has sent him on travel.
He is looking for a new job in the spring. I told him we are going all out for number five next year because this is bullshit.
I'm sorry - life gets in the way of anniversary dates and it sucks donkey balls. H and I always pick a later date around our anniversary to really celebrate it

These look delicious. I'm going to have to try them.
My H's cousin had her baby yesterday, 8 pounds 12 ounces! He already has chubby cheeks, and it is not helping my baby fever.
I'm so glad it's already Thursday. My house needs cleaned, but I just feel like I never have time to do it during the week.
Squee!! Baby! I'm right there with you. My cousin just had a baby girl last week. I have three other cousins due with babies between now and February. My ovaries are screaming at me, lol! I love love love newborns, even with all the work, blood, sweat and tears that come along with them. My ten month old just isn't quite the same, although I still love him. DH and I had said that we were done at 3, but now that #3 is nearing the one year mark, we are in talks of maybe adding one more in a couple of years. If money wasn't a factor, I'd probably have ten, lol.
I think I'm close to cutting my mom off completely for a while. She is so good at telling me lies. And it fucking hurts when I find out that she lied. Out of all people, ugh! My sisters are freaking drama queens who live off of petty shit and lies. Somehow I thought my mom was at least a little different. Why I thought that, I have no idea. I'm tired of always coming in last to her. "But I treat you all the same!!!" No you don't! (End my childish, middle child rant, lol)
Lately, without so much drama consuming my time, I have finally found something I want to pursue in terms of career/how to spend my time. I have found (through my new business venture) that I love helping others. Absolutely love it! I've never been happier to work, lol. I've got a person I'm mentoring, and I really really love helping her out. I also find that I love empowering other women. Just giving them words of encouragement and positivity, that makes me happy. Since I've figured all of this out, I want to volunteer. I have a friend who works at a local organization that helps women and children who are/were victims of domestic violence. I've already reached out to her. I plan to start volunteering there at the beginning of the year. I'm so excited for that!

Just a quick question is granulated garlic a regular grocery item?

Yes! In the dried spice section. I forgot to add, if the dough seems soft, just add a bit of flour until it feels good enough to roll, like any other dough.
Lots if you need hugs and special thoughts today. I hope all goes well w medical procedures. Sorry to make a blanket post but there were a lot. Many hugs to you all.
I had my first daycare fail. I looked at the calendar the owner sent home and it said they were supposed to wear orange today. I only noticed this as DH was walking out the door to take her. She has on a pink skirt with a pink and yellow top. I feel so bad. I hope she doesn't notice or they don't talk about it.

Thank you! I wasn't sure, I've never bought it before.
I hit send a few minutes ago when I meant to hit save. I had to write another e-mail saying oops trigger finger before I sent the actual e-mail. I suck at e-mail!
I think breast feeding theo might actually be over . I'm bummed. I wanted to go for a year, but the kid will NOT take the breast and it's a screaming match every time. I'm like, wtf?? Both kids, man. Sofia refused around 6 months, now this guy at 4.5 months. what is wrong with me that my kids don't like to breast feed?
I get my washer and dryer installed today. Wheeee! Who knew that there would be SO MUCH LAUNDRY after only 5 freaking days?
I'm wearing a dress for the third time this week bc I haven't don't wash and all my work pants are dirty. Lol that I'm willing to shave and dress up but not run a quick load of Dryell.
i wear a dress nearly every day to work and always get compliments.
people just don't know that i refuse to wear pants because i find them so restrictive. dresses are liberating! lol.

So, I just want to put this somewhere because it's been bothering me.
Backstory: my aunt, who is 8 years older than my father, is married to an alcoholic asshole. She's always been nothing but nice to us, as far as I know but he's, we'll, an alcoholic asshole.
Sometime during my high school years, he did something "terrible" to my mother. I wasn't made aware of it at the time, bug I did pick up on the fact that my parents were distancing themselves from my aunt and uncle. Fast forward 10 years and uncle has a blood clot that can't be treated until he withdraws from the alcohol and he is told never to drink again. All of a sudden, aunt is calling my father asking how much I know about the "incident" and wanting to meet up with me when they're visiting NYC. It didn't happen last year because of hurricane Sandy and now my father has told me to ignore them when they contact me this year, yet hasn't told me what the "incident" was and, frankly, I don't want to know. The whole situation is just upsetting.
I just bought my birthday present, ha! A shiny new pair of black riding boots. My birthday's not until the end of the month, but I wanted to make sure I got my size.
(((lpcats))) I'm sorry. I would avoid them like the plague. You don't need that shit.
I know, it's just that after 27 years of spending time with them as family, being close with them, and being led to believe that everything was ok, aside from him, it's hard for me to just drop them and my cousins and my cousins' children, who I was close to growing up.

Sent from my Motorola Electrify using ProBoards
I do this a lot.
Oh, it's jammy day? Whoops!
It's no biggie.
How are you holding up this week?
Ok this makes me feel better lol!
I'm actually holding up better than expected!! It has been a smooth transition for us. It helped that we have had a lot of support. Thanks for asking
Delurking to complain. It's my birthday and what is great early in the morning on your birthday? Yeah birthday sex.... BUT FI thought he had super human strength or something and I think he pushed my IUD up to where it shouldn't be. Doctor appointment to check at 3:30. Just how I wanted to spend my birthday, with my legs open and a lady in between. lol!
