What do you wear with a sequined skirt?

I know this topic has been pics-posted before, but at the time I didn't have a sequin skirt. Well, I finally found one I love, but I'm not sure it will pair well with anything else in my closet.
I want to create a couple of different fall/holiday looks to justify this purchase. Help?

I've worn my sequin skirt with a gray cashmere sweater. I love the plaid shirt look too.

plaid shirt, chambray shirt, slouchy sweater/sweatshirt for a casual look. tank and a blazer for something a little dressier.

I think it would be great with a white, black or gray t-shirt or nicer top, a denim jacket, black tights, black booties or boots, and any coordinating statement necklace that won't get lost in the color of the top under the jacket. A black or brown leather jacket would work too. It's just a matter of trial and error with what you already have in your closet and what's in your comfort zone.

Kohls has a lot of blush pieces in the Jennifer Lopez stuff that would be awesome with it if you need an excuse to shop. The Catherine Malandrino line has maroon as the only color besides the neutrals. Where did you find maroon if you don't mind me asking? It's one of DH's school colors and would be awesome for events.

I have that Asos Multi colored skirt and I wore a 3-quarters length black shirt and let the sequins speak. I wore it tucked in. Of course I don't have a good picture.
