Boring ole Sunday morning here. Just having a snuggly morning with DH on the couch watching Dog & Beth. Sometimes it is just nice to hang with no interruptions.
Oh good, Theo decided to wake up at 5am on a Sunday. Thanks, kid.
I bought mint chocolate creamer for my coffee and it's not very good. Chocolate mint? Good. Chocolate mint mixed with coffee taste? Not so good. And I think my h drank the rest of the bailey's when he was home. I could really go for a coffee and bailey's.

My poor reading comprehension coupled with my skimming this post and my lack of enough coffee yet enabled me to read this as WAITING for Dog and Beth.

I am 44. I am hung-over. Hang-overs at 44 suck balls. And I didn't even drink that much. Getting older sucks this way. (and one would think I'd be wiser, but no)
The lawn people at my apartment complex decided to weedwack outside of my bedroom window at 7:30 this morning. Ugh.
I went shopping yesterday and saw a Filene's Basement on the way home and was all excited that one was opening here but I just looked it up and apparently it is closing not opening as they went bankrupt. My former boss always talked about how awesome the one in Boston was.
I slept like crap last night, and gave up and got up around 5am. DH isn't feeling well again... are you kidding me?!? He just got over a cold!
I'm supposed to take my oldest nephew to soccer practice this afternoon. I'm NOT thrilled about it - mainly because he lives one town to the left of me and practice is in one town to the right of me. This is not a "quick favor" at all.
Ok. I'm a little creeped out. So, we have a big unfinished room in the basement. The house was built in 1991 and for whatever reason, they just never finished the basement. Nbd, we'll get to it when we get to it. Anyway, there is a bunch of writing and drawing all over the drywall, obviously done by kids or whatever. Last week I noticed this weird drawing on one of the metal beams and it looked like a devil. I could have sworn it wasn't there before, but it creeped me out enough so I scratched it off. This morning I went down to that room to grab the vacuum and something catches my eye. It was the same fucking drawing on a wall. You guys, I could SWEAR it wasn't there before. The same devil looking drawing. That room already creeps me out as it is because there's just something about an unfinished room, but pair that with the fact that my kid was talking to herself in her bedroom for well over an hour the other day (she never, ever does stuff like that) and Theo non stop crying since we moved in, I'm starting to get freaked out.
Yes, it's totally irrational and dorky of me, but I can't help it. Lol.
GuyOnABuffalo omg that's freaky!! I hope it's just a bunch of strange coincidences. That drawing was totally always there. You just never noticed it. ::nervous laugh::

Yeah, it's just so, so weird. When we had the inspection on the house, I stood in that room for quite a long time trying to decide how I wanted to finish it. I swear I looked over every drawing in that room because I thought it was kind of cute. I even remember staring at that stupid beam thinking how this beam going to look just right in the centre of the room, and I just could swear there was no little drawing on it.
Then again, I've been waking up every hour for the past..I don't even know, due to a non sleeping baby, so that could definitely be a huge part of why I'm freaking out so much. Maybe I should just get a sage stick, just in case. Lol.

MIL had the kid overnight, and DH and I got a hotel room. Seven hours of uninterrupted sleep. OMGah. And we fit in sex before Saturday Night Live last night, lol. We ate cookies in bed while we watched. All of this defines my perfect evening.
We also just found out our favorite Vietnamese restaurant is open at 9. Pho for breakfast!

K has his third cold since he started daycare two months ago. And he's teething. Still.
We are miserable and exhausted. I'm glad he's building these antibodies, but holy shit can we just have a few weeks where the poor kid isn't blowing sad little snot bubbles and hacking all over while simultaneously gnawing on his Sophie the giraffe?
For real. The plan when we bought this house was to just finish it, then sell it. We got it for a really great price, so once it's done (we put in a fence, next is the driveway, then basement, then yard in the spring), we are going to see how the market is and try to sell it. Realistically we're thinking we'll be here for 5ish years, but dude, not if I keep finding devil drawings!
I mentioned yesterday how we were creeped out because of all these armed home invasions. We're going to bed at 12:30 last night and H says there's a car just idling across the street from our house. I watch from upstairs and it sits there a few min. Then it turns into our driveway, backs out, and slowly drives down the street. We think it parked in front of someone's house and maybe the people got out. After that it took me awhile to fall asleep. Chances are, it was just someone lost (the house numbers on our street are screwy and don't go in order for some reason), but it still left me on edge. Roxie did not find it worthy of barking though, lol.
Anyways, today we have a photo shoot later today (hopefully we can get Rox to cooperate). This morning we have to mow and rake.
I haven't washed my hair since Wednesday morning. I don't really want to wash it today either.
yesterday, verona instagrammed a pic of herself looking awesome and the caption was about how she hadn't washed her hair since MONDAY!!! i'd look like a greaseball.
My hair would smell so badly if I did that. Stink lines would be waving above my head like in a cartoon.
We're going to Boo at the Zoo today, and I can't wait for DS 2 to try on his costume for the first time. This is the first year he really "gets" Halloween, he's been talking about dressing up as Jake (from the Neverland Pirates) for the last two months, and we got the costume when he wasn't with us so he hasn't even seen it yet. Kid is going to be INSANE with joy.
Also, I have an embarrassingly large zit on my upper lip that makes me want to stick a fake mustache on my face until it goes away. Stupid skin, and stupid me for messing with it yesterday.
