Lol I want to know what the "more than $75" vote is for.
There are neighborhoods around here that get 500-700 (or more) kids. I can imagine it. We get about 200. Our neighborhood is only four blocks, but a lot of kids come in from other places.
We get about 100 I think? I can see how it adds up. I can't imagine 500-700.

We used to get pixy stix and goldfish (to the toddlers). Pixy stix were a great deal. For about 5 cents a kid we could still give out two. Plus, the kids loved them. But target isn't carrying pixy stix this year. boo.
Nothing. I can't force excitement over other people's kids telling the same jokes over and over.
Whut?
Jokes?
Oh yeah, they tell jokes around here.
When my son still went out and I wasn't such a scrooge it was very competitive. Groups of kids fighting over who told what joke at what house when. My kid STUDIED joke books like it was his job.

We live in a new neighborhood this year, so I have no idea what the trick or treat situation is like. There are a lot of kids, so I'm excited to see what we get.
We bought a big back of Snickers, a big bag of Kit Kats, and a big bag of Lemonheads.
I voted that! Our neighborhood is one of the ones that does tons of lights and decorations. Our cul-de-sac is magical. Add to that liking good candy and we are going to be over. $500 this year, all in.
And I have already started buying Christmas decorations.
