ETA: lol, I was going to start bootd but then realized I was silly and had too many pics. This is a flat out AW instead.
just dumping a few in here from the last couple days since I never seem to get on the computer anymore.
AWing away.
Baby has to see everything. C likes to show him stuff. This was the invoice from a present he received. She says "see baby? See?"
lots of hugs are given. I have to watch that she doesn't lean on him. Hand placement a little questionable here but it was ok.
Working on his side eye for the mom=paparazzi
My little chef boyardee
and kiddo has been adoring puzzles lately. I didn't realize she was ready for the more complicated ones than just board puzzles. She's been flying through the 4 or 5 we have and wants more. Here's just one. I left the room while she had it and came back to it pretty much done. Nice that she's into them b/c I think she's getting a little stir crazy that we don't leave much right now.
C is so precious, and that is an amazing baby side-eye!
Our friends are dying laughing at that pic - b/c C has had that skill down since she was an infant as well. And they all laugh when she throws the side eye to people or other kids. She did it in baby group as early as 4 mo old and they all still joke about it.

Love, love, love! I think your kids are pretty close to how far apart mine will be when the baby comes and I am going to pretend that things will be as storybook cute as these photos. Love.
Last night, c was playing with toy cars and a racetrack and baby j was awake so I was making up songs and making him dance. After a bit, c looked at me rather quizzically. Then she saw me making baby j dance and she totally burst out laughing. It was kind of fun like we were sharing a more grown up humor moment. It was pretty funny and ridiculous, what I was doing. I did the same for her at bedtime (held her under armpits like i held j and made her pretend dance. She was roaring w laughter then too.

I think I forgot to answer awhile back but yes, 2 yrs 2 months. She's very good with him. Sometimes she ignores him, but overall tries to involve him. She has been acting out a little since he arrived (jumping on furniture, some extra whining). Some is attention seeking but some may be teeth. (Her upper gums are all swollen in the toothless gaps .)
She wasn't very pleased the first few days esp when she'd come down from nap w Dh to find j on my lap blocking her post-nap cuddle. But she's getting better w all the change and is rather fond of the squishy kiddo.
