First, focus on the clothes. UGH. It's the Costco outfit that 8675309 rocked. My tunic kept riding up my booty. The boots are too short... I should have figured that out in the mirror. :? bleh.
I also used a different shampoo and it's all gross city. FAIL. I'm not judging my (almost non) makeup because I didn't feel well and went out anyway, so the bonus wife/mommy points cancels that out.
What!!?? I think you look great! I didn't get the purple one though. I am actually sporting the striped one with a black leather jacket today. My coworkers are going to be so tired of seeing me in leggings.
Ugh, aren't those the worst days? I'll wear something to work sometimes (for the first time) and be all "OMG, this skirt is going to fly up and show the world my big ass".

You're adorable and thank you for that! It just looks...unfinished to me? Frumpy? Off?
I think I needed a bigger tunic? Maybe? I so suck at this being a girl thing.
We're actually the same height and weight, so I SO thought I was hott. ::sigh:: One day I will be as girly as my daughter. maybe she can teach me when she's older!
Maybe I'm just being hard on myself. I need @booby to tell me like it is but not make me cry. lol

May I offer some constructive criticism?
PLEASE!!!
1 - Dry shampoo. Anytime I feel like the greasies are going to pop through, I use it (and btw - I'm not saying I think your hairs look greasy, you mentioned it!).
2 - One thing I learned from WNTW (What Not to Wear) is that wearing something that cuts you across at your widest point (the hips for most people), it only accentuates that area (the eyes get drawn to it). So, I don't think you look BAD by any means I personally try not to wear clingy stuff that cuts me right there.
3 - Sorry, I actually do not like the short boots with this (again this is all personal preference!!). I'm kind of obsessed with tall boots right now though, so take my opinion all with a grain of salt.
4 - I feel like a jerk after typing this out. You really do NOT look bad.
You need taller boots and a more supportive bra. If you are having a flat hair day, sex it up with a ponytail. I honestly think the tunic is fine! I really like the color.

LOL! It wasn't like I was fishing for compliments with this picture! Promise. no feelings hurt. I NEED this stuff. I mean it when I say I suck at being girly.
1) I wash my hair every.single.day.of.my.life. and it will look good and full for about 1/2 an hour and then go flat. This was worse because it's flat and stringy....yay.... I did just try a sample of Bumble & Bumble Thickening Shampoo and Conditioner and ordered the full-size. It seemed to do MUCH better (well..anything is better than that picture), but we'll see what happens after using it every day.
1a) My hair grows SO fast. I think I need a trim too.
2) Oh yeah, my hips are wide and my booty full...sooooo...That's an excellent point. I just saw it look so good on 8675309 that I thought it would work on me too since we're the same height/weight/shape....lol! I must have some more junk in the trunk.
3) I don't like it either like I said in the OP.
4) So SEE! No feelings hurt. HONEST!!! I love you for helping me.

Whoa! This totally threw me for a loop because I got measured, and I'm wearing the bra for which I was sized: BUT...
You made me remember I was measured....3 years ago.....
I need to post crappy pics more often.
I have elf ears that stick out, so ponytails look weird on me. I wonder if I could do dry shampoo in the evenings...but my hair is super thin....Gotta look into that.

They just need to be hiked up a notch. Popping your boobs up a tad will accentuate your flat stomach. I'm jealous. I have a mommy pouch.

"I was thinking about getting off on demand, but it sounds like I should be glad that I didn't"
I'm kind of going through the "how to wear tunics and leggings" thing right now too, and I'm totally enthused that we have the same shape because this is helping me too LOL
What if you added a scarf? I was tugging at and adjusting my tunic and leggings deal for like an hour last night because something just looked off but I couldn't figure out what it was. Added a scarf, felt MUCH better. I think sometimes the tunic/leggings look can get a little plain and a bit of textile depth seems to really make a difference.
Re: your hair.. I think you need to strip it. Nutrogena has a great clarifying line, I'd use that once a week or so. I think your hair is just weighed down with gunk from the shampoos and such.
I personally though you looked great, nice legs, nice ass! Flat tummy, round boobs - you have hair?!?! I didn't even look that far.
Good posture.
Don't be so hard on yourself. Life happens, live in it. You don't need to loo like boobys fashun bloggers when you go out.
I just want to look like I give a damn. Because I don't 9/10ths of the time, but I'm TRYING because I WANT to try.
I thought you were saying you and 8675309 were one in the same. I was confused lol
Not helping youngin'!
/ginger hitches britches up under her boobs.
I love the tunic by the way, and the color is great on you. I am anti leggings, although it always looks comfy. I agree with taller boots, and a longer tunic with the leggings though.
I read it as "i am no (like number) 8675309 and you were confessing to us. Not anything in a bad way

I would maybe wear a slightly larger top with the leggings. I like either top slim fit or bottoms.
This is what I was thinking. That top is supposed to be a tunic, but uh...my junk in the trunk and big boobs had different plans. I was wondering if a bigger top would look frumpy or actually like a tunic....
The world may never know. I can't wait to wear the tunic with jeans though. Man, that tunic is soft.
And the leggings ARE amazing, but not together on me. I'm looking forward to wearing the leggings with a dress or something.
This has been a process of wanting to care, so I love the feedback. I'm trying to just look at myself honestly without ego or (lack of) self-confidence getting in the way. It also helps to hear that I may have went too far negative instead of constructive. Swear.

ps you are pretty and your daughter is a cutie
Don't feel bad! It made me all giggly and then I missed aance because we can't do the auto-pink text.
Since you mentioned the shampoo and conditioner, try the Bumble & Bumble Thickening Spray. I've found it gives a bit of volume to my fine hair.
I'm always scared to add extra product since (as you see) sometimes even shampoo can be too much, BUT...I thought about trying it! I'll have to get some and try.
And yep, another vote for dry shampoo. I don't think putting it on after you dry your hair would be overkill. Sometimes I'll put some on the day I wash, so that when it would normally start to get gross, it sucks up the grease. It also seems to give some substance to my roots, and it seems to take longer for my hair to fall flat.
This is super helpful. Do you have a brand you prefer? Do you have thin/fine hair?
