Pigeon, alligator, frog, raw shrimp and some other raw seafood, bear, goose stomach, snails, sea urchin, star fish. Chinese food incorporates a lot of parts of animals that we don't typically consume in the U.S.
oh god, there may have been some "strange" foods there, but I was invited to a traditional Chinese wedding with the 12 course dinner and it's the best meal I've ever had. I think there was some jelly fish?
The dog was an interesting experience. It was when we were living in China and we decided to try a hotpot restaurant that specialized in dog. The experience was so much more than just eating it.

I think the absolute strangest food I have eaten is a pigs' tongue, eyeballs, and feet. I had the salmon skin sushi tonight and it was A+. The bug, not so much.
This is mine too. Pig eyeball. Definitely the weirdest thing I've eaten.
I don't know that I've really eaten anything else that I would truly consider strange. Lots of stuff that is more regional than anything. Alligator, kangaroo, cow tongue, octopus, eel, shark, etc.

That's why I didn't go into detail. I will say, though, it's not like they grabbed it from someone's backyard.

Oh come on.
Pigs are smart as fuck and we eat them. The value of dogs is totally cultural.
