Snapped Killer Couples has been on all day while I've been cleaning. Current killer is from my town. Kinda crazy and random. It happened in 2002 and I lived a few towns over at the time, well and was in 6th grade, so I don't remember this.
I'm watching this too !! I live in northern MA and don't remember this happening!!
I will have to ask my DH because he's from town and 11 years older than I am, so this guy and his siblings would have been in high school around the same time.

Math fail. This guy is my age. Not DH's. I was living in Maryland after graduating college when this happened. Oops! That's why I don't remember -- I was in a different state.

I'm having a hard time finding something on the googles. It's really hard to google something when you have no idea what you're talking about. It's a cheerleading thing. Ugh!
Speaking of- I am spending the CYO's money on signs and poms. They're gonna shit a brick when I tell them I have enough interest for three teams- we need more uniforms, times like forty. Hehe.
I'm being observed teaching at the university on Wednesday. I should be prepping for that but, ummm, cheer. I'm still pretty disgruntled about the spring. Fuckers
Ugh. Of course I think I'm coming down with something. About an hour and a half ago I started feeling off. Chills (even though the heat is way up and I'm i a long sleeve shirt and hoodie under a blanket), fatigue, body aches, etc.
I took my temp and it's 100, so not a huge fever, but a slight one. I plan to take some Tylenol and try to drink lots of water. I already have tomorrow off for the window installation but really don't want to feel like shit while a bunch of the windows are out and I have guys traipsing all over making noise. This sucks.
Tomorrow starts restaurant week (really 2 weeks) for the suburban area near me. Tomorrow I'm going to dinner with a cw'er and next week DH and I are going to a restaurant I've always wanted to try. I'm also going to another place for a mom's night out.
My thank you cards were sent a few weeks ago and someone called today to ask why they didn't get one but so-and-so that attended the wedding did. I immediately apologized and said I'd send another out. Well I got to my list of gifts and I realized they didn't give us anything for our wedding, so they didn't get a thank you because I didn't send one.
Should I send a thank you to everyone who attended the wedding, just thanking them for attending? I am terrible at etiquette, but I thought the thank you notes were for the gifts we received.
I also tried chili with celery in it tonight. It's a nice addition.
So, you paid for the person to eat and drink on your dime, and they wanted you to send them a thank you note? I don't know what common opinion is around here, but I definitely did not send thank you notes to people for just showing up at our wedding. No one forced you to attend.
I am on a long layver in Vegas and there is less to do in the airport than I hoped. I played some video poker and I am now sitting on the floor GBCN'ing. This is my last week of crazy work travel and I can't wait to be done with all of the time away from home.
The 2 girls next to me are seriously using the word HASHTAG in their conversation. It is going to drive me to the bar really fast.
littleduck are you sure their gift or card didn't just slip through the cracks somehow?
I was all "no ty card for those people!" until I thought of this. Usually the people who ask for ty cards give gifts.
Funny story. My 1st grade teacher came to my wedding (she attends the church I grew up attending) and is friends with my grandma. A month after I got married my grandma started calling me asking why my teacher hadn't received her ty card for the gc and card she gave us. Fast forward 1.5 years and I found said gc with a card among my files. I have no idea how it got there but immediately sent out a ty card apologizing profusely for misplacing the gift etc etc.
I just got the claim recap for having Henry. I am sad and even more sad when I realize that is just the hospital bill, not the OB, the anesthesiologist, etc.

I only sent cards to people who gave us gifts, it never would cross my mind to send people a thank you just for coming. Also who calls and asks why they didn't get a thank you card!? That's crazy to me.

I have no idea! That's why I asked haha. I can't find a gift from them anywhere so I am going to call tomorrow and politely apologize for misplacing their gift and ask them to remind me of what it was. If they remind me I'll see if it's at my mom's or relative's house, and if they say they didn't give one I'll say, "Oh no problem, I just wanted to double check. Your note will be in the mail tomorrow." It's not worth it to fight over sending one.
That's a good plan. Agreed totally not worth fighting over. But still weird. lol
My 2nd ASM is really a double edged sword. One minute she is yelling at me for one thing and the next she is yelling at me for something else because I'm doing what she yelled at me for not getting caught up on the first time.
