I liked Harry the best. I kind of liked Steve - but he should have just let Miranda buy him that suit.
Ugh. First of all, maybe he should have just gone to Men's Warehouse for the $199 special. Does a disheveled bartender really need a $1700 suit? Beside the point, I know. But yeah, otherwise he should have just let Miranda pay for it instead of being a fucking annoying pussy martyr.
Yes Omg the awful suit he showed up in. I would have dumped him right there. That's the kind of guy who will be going for dinner with white socks in his sandals at 60. NEXT!!!
Even though I never was attracted to Smith, I liked him for Samantha. I didn't like that Samantha became a caricature near the end but I did think that in the first movie, leaving him was the right move because she just wasn't that kind of girl to begin with.
I have mixed feelings about Alexandr, since I'm an artist. We're not exactly easy to live with, but nothing he did was terribly offensive until The Slap. And Big is just fantasy-fulfillment for Carrie fans. It really disturbs me that ala-Fifty-Shades-of-Grey, women seem to want men who act "mysterious" - code for manipulative, emotionally abusive dudes.
Final thoughts: Did it ever bother anyone else that if Miranda changed her name, the baby would be Brady Brady?
I also love Blair Underwood but I don't remember anything about his character besides the fact that he was played by Blair Underwood. And that's enough.
OMG- How could I forget about him! I think he is sooo sexy!
She's not the type to, I know. But imagine if you were Steve and you were like, "Hi I'm Steve Brady, and this is my son, Brady." You know you'd stop and think about it for a second. My mom had a student named Sebastian Sebastian once.
It's similar to the practices in Iceland where they do Jon Jonsson (Jon, son of Jon) and there was no practice of family surnames. And for awhile the infant mortality rate was so high there that you would name your first few sons Jon Jonsson. When the survival rate increased dramatically, there were so many Jon Jonssons that it was the most common name in Iceland. Now they have surnames, and an app to tell if you are someone's cousin. This fun fact brought to you by a graveyard tour DH and I took in Iceland.
I have a friend who's last name is Ryan and they named their son Ryan. Same idea, no? I think it is cute.
