#6: When they lit the castle w/ Christmas lights. I may have teared up. SHUT UP! I know that makes me lose all cool points (assuming I had any to begin with) and officially makes me a Disney nerd.
#5: When Gaston overheard me telling N that he wasn't available to say hello, since it looked like he was leaving, and without missing a beat, he waved to her and said "I know you're sad I'm leaving, but at least you'll get to watch me go." I'm pretty sure that might be the most fun character to portray because you get to say all the sarcastic narcissistic crap that comes up in your head, which you'd normally filter, but since that's the character, it is completely appropriate to say it.
#4: E's complete and utter terror when the characters came up to her. It shouldn't be funny (because she was actually frozen with fear, and just screaming a horror-film-worthy scream), but it totally was. Her solution was to grab my hand and smash it over her face, to hide her eyes.
#3: When N told E not to be afraid of the characters in full body costumes like Goofy, and Mickey, because "they're just pretend, and there are people in there. But the princesses are definitely real, because they're real people."
#2: When N grabbed Mulan's boob during the meet and greet picture. Sorry Mulan.
#1: When N told me, as she was half conscious last night and i was putting her in bed "thank you so so SO much mommy, for taking me and my sister on this trip. You're the best mommy ever." *heart melts*
apalettepassion.wordpress.com/ WHO IS BONQUIQUI!?!?!?!??!
"I was thinking about getting off on demand, but it sounds like I should be glad that I didn't"
no, the ILs didn't come along. Thank goodness, because although it is fun, it is a sort of stressful fun, and I did not need the dynamics of trying to keep MIL happy and still be able to do what the girls wanted to do - namely, meet every single princess EVERYWHERE, and ride the Dumbo ride and merry-go-round.
Oh, and also? Mickey Mouse in the theater at MK talks to you now. It is kind of cool, but also kind of creepy, because it isn't just a pre-recorded voice track. It is like, a conversation.

How fun! I've always had really stressful Disney experiences (Thanks a lot, MOM!), so I cannot wait to take my own kids and see it fresh through their eyes.
Looks like a fabulous trip! I can't wait to go back to Disney. It won't be for a couple yrs so everyone post your pictures so I can live vicariously through you.

BRB, going to apply for my dream job...
Please. We know Mulan is your dream job now that you know you will get felt up.
Welcome to the Disney nerd club! To me there is nothing better than Disney during the holidays. Last year we won tickets to the candlelight processional and it was amazing. It was beyond anything I could have imagined. Diamond Lou Phillips read the story with an accompanyment of local school choirs and a full orchestra. Many tears were shed that night.
