I started today. We moved into a new house this year, and I wanted to buy garland for the staircases before they sold out, and then I wanted to make sure I got the right sizes. No regrets here!

With Thanksgiving being so late, we will probably start putting up decorations the weekend before. Maybe not the tree...I haven't decided. We also always keep our stuff up through New Year's Day because I want to squeeze all the time I can out of the Christmas season.

I love the Land's End stockings! I was half debating about ordering them while their F&F is going on for the boys, but it feels weird to order stockings with their names on it before they're actually born. Like I'm going to jinx it or something.
I'll order after they're born though. I've got the angel, H has the Santa, and I think we're going to do the penguins and the reindeer (not pulling the sleigh) for the boys. I really like the train one, but I feel like I can't get that for one of the boys and not the other, and I don't want two of the same stockings.
I would totally want to hang all that up if I just received it, so I don't blame you.
And don't feel bad for you your UPS man. I once ordered a new closet system. It came in 35+ giant, long boxes. OMG. I don't know what I was thinking would happen.
I have the pottery barn kids quilted stockings with our names and I love them. I have been debating getting a new one for the baby, but can't decide which one. They will probably be cheaper after Christmas anyways.

Well, clearly you need to put the stockings up so you can monitor Freddie. He is much more active this year and you need to introduce the decorations slowly do he doesn't go crazy getting into all of them at once. It is the responsible parenting thing to do, Jermys, to put your pretty new stockings up right away!
