::hugs:: cuddlyevil It stinks that you are still rehashing the past. But, really, it's not a. surprise that he never got over it. It's something he's been holding over your head for a long time.

I think it needed to be said though, it's always been implied but never fully stated. He needed to say it and I needed to hear it.
Tirimasu, counseling is going well--we had a breakthrough last week that changed our perspectives a bit. We need to get together and talk about it (our therapist wanted us to think about it individually first) more. We're both sad, I think he's sort of hoping I'll decide I can live with it and we can move on. I can't.

I'm glad to hear it's going well, even though you're both having to confront difficult things. I can't imagine how hurt I would be to hear something like he said to you. I'm proud of how you're handling this, too.

Thanks. It's been hard, last week was my week for the hot seat, but I think it's been good for us too. We have a safe place to get things out. Our therapist is pretty damn awesome too, he doesn't take sides and is evenhanded with his call outs.
It seems like you're both making good progress cuddlyevil.
What did the doctors have to say about your H partiallysunny?
He tested positive for an infection, so he's on an antibiotic. He also has pain meds, just incase.
Doctors not sure if he has stone(s) or not. It was another test and more $, so she said to wait and see. If it doesn't get better in a few days, she'll do the other test to see.

He is an idiot but I also do hope he feels better soon.
I've not had a kidney stone but one of the favorite stories in my family is the time my grandfather had one and it was super painful and it finally came out and he ran into the living room where the whole family was sitting with his stone in his hand screaming with joy. This is a very proper man so it tells you something. My dad dies laughing every time he tells the story.

Is it wrong I pictured a very old man with his pants around his ankles captainmel?
He's an idiot because he gets these infections every once and awhile. And I knew he was complaining about it recently, having to get cranberry juice, blah, blah. Then he goes to a football game on Sunday and doesn't pee (because he's in a public place) or makes sure he drinks enough liquid.

It's possible he has a stone too, but things are so swollen because of the infection that they can't tell. Kidney stones suck. My old boss had one and he brought it into work to examine it under the microscope.
