It's freaking freezing outside and I had to get gas this morning. It's 20*F right now and I was pumping gas over 3 hours ago. Brrrrr. I need more hot tea.
I dropped DS off at my mom's and the first thing he said was "what's that smell?" and did this fake gagging thing that he does when he smells something gross. My step-dad made fish for dinner last night. The whole house smells like fish. I've had a barrage of texts from my mom this morning... This is gross I'm cleaning the oven OMG now [my step-dad] just pooped! It smells like fish and shit in here. I just washed the curtains last week!
Yeah for shorter weeks. I'm not sure if we are open or closing early on Wednesday. I hope we are working a shorter day at least. Tonight I need to make an apple pie for a Friendsgiving tomorrow. I'm excited to get together with everyone before the family madness that will be Thursday.
I can't help laughing at that Chirp! Your poor soon.
It's hilarious. I've been getting texts all morning.
The funniest part is, my sister was all proud of herself because she is scheduled to work this morning and thought she could escape the fish smell (she's in high schoo, which is off this week, and works part-time as a cashier at a local non-chain grocery store). She forgot something... the store where she works has an in-house butcher shop, so the whole store always smells like a dump truck full of raw meat. DS calls it the stinky chicken store.
So she just texted me. "I forgot it smells worse here. FML."
I got a ton done yesterday at home, but I want one more weekend day to do more. H and I switched off in one hour intervals of watching A/cleaning and it worked really well. If I could just have a few more hours...
I swear, I'm going to get myself in trouble. There is the cutest (and seemingly sweetest) 3.5 year old saint bernard available for adoption about 2.5 hours west of us. Ohhh man would I love love love to rescue her.
I'm off all week. I'm going to the dentist today and other than that will probably just work on the second scarf I started crocheting and get my secret santa present ready.

The mister cleaned up the office and set up my desk so we both can be in the office together hanging out, I have a feeling he will regret this soon when I start talking to him all night long where before I had to get up and walk my happy ass across the apartment to talk to him and well I am lazy sooooo that didnt happen unless it was extremely urgent.

Yesterday Boyfriend wanted to watch this Nature episode about Leopards. I was totally loving it because there were twin baby leopards and the mama leopard was adorable. One of the baby leopards got killed by a baboon and I sobbed for like... 15 minutes and made Boyfriend turn off the show. Is there something wrong with me?

Nope! I was watching a nature show of some sorts on National Geographic with my ex several years ago, and a mamma hippo was trying to introduce her son to the other males in their pack/herd or whatever it is called. Well, the baby made a move the one adult male didn't like and proceeded to kill the baby. I cried then and still want to cry just thinking about it.

I make our bed now because the dog likes to curl up on my side of the bed. If you come into the room he looks all pathetic like "Please don't make me move! I'm being good...".
