They are OBSESSED with taking pics of Ari SK we are replacing their kinda old camera. It isn't a really expensive one but it is nice. We are also doing some gift cards, coffee, and golf stuff.
I got silhouettes of the boys made and framed for them this year. Also we always send a big Legal Sea Food lobster dinner to them (they live in MI and love lobster, lol). It has clam chowder, lobster, Boston cream pie, etc etc. DHs family is big into food gifts.
Buying for the ILs and my parents it always a challenge. I am also doing a photo calendar for both but have no clue about anything else right now, so I am no help.
What do they like: gadgets, travel, coffee, sports?

Where did you get silhouettes done? I would love this.

This will be unhelpful - a local children's boutique had a person come in for a day to do them. But I just did a google search for "silhouette artist X town" and things pop up. I may have seen someone on Etsy that does them from photos, too....

My MIL is a witch, and we haven't spoken to her since March 31. I am not sure if we will see her at Christmas or not, but I ordered a photo calendar and got her an initial cutting board that I found on clearance for $3! If we see her fine, but if we don't I can use her gifts at home.

What about a personalized something or other from Shutterfly, like an iPhone cover, calendar, mug, etc? Calendars are FREE with a coupon on Shutterfly right now! Code is FREECAL
A friend of ours is learning how to do portraits, so we gave her a picture of them and she drew their portrait. I have no idea if they (okay, MIL. FIL doesn't care much) will like it, but it was something different. She captured my MIL really well, not so much FIL, but MIL is the picky one.
We got them each a coffee mug with pics of the kids on them (different pics) that says we love nana llove kellen and miller. We also got them a large. Canvas with a pic of the boys. Nothing over the top
We're just doing photo calendars for all our adult family members this year. Though we may end up sending FIL a check...they need the money more than whatever junk we'd pick out.

Hm, I'll have to look. I'm in Burlington and assume there is no one near me who this.
I think we will do canvas or other photo gifts for H's Mom. His Sister/Bro-In-Law and Brother/SIL all do amazon wishlists and we buy from those each year.

we always get the inlaws food gifts too- i feel like we need to take a break this year... we've done steaks and fresh salmon
I think I'm ordering the mother in law a wooden replica of their house... I really want to do a birdhouse replica but they are over $500 and take 8 weeks... so too late for that this year.
They seriously have everything and the ideas they give us are boring- pants, new pajamas, etc. I wish it was easier to do a wine of the month club in PA but it's tough with the liquor laws. Maybe I should look into other ---- month clubs
