I always wanted three, but I'm guessing we'll likely stop at two. Two seems to make the most sense for us at this time. Now if A sleep trained 6 month old appears on my doorstep with a winning lotto ticket, we could make it work
I would have more if they could be adopted at age 2, and went to boarding school at 12 I also like the idea of more than 2 but not the actual raising them and spending a lot of money to do so part.
Besides, one day i will (maybe) have sons or daughters in law and it will feel more like I have a full table at Thanksgiving, so 2 is good.
I knew I didn't want to have more than one biological child, but I wonder if we would adopt another if we lived in LCOL. I'm just not ok with the amount of money it would take to raise 3 kids and pay for private school here. I want a life that isn't all about tuition payments.
