I got teary eyed when the Rockettes came on the parade. They are seriously my favorite and I wanted to be one so badly as a kid. A is loving the parade! He's dancing with the bands and saying hi to everything. He also thinks the NBC peacock logo is ice cream and keeps "grabbing" it and feeding me, lol.
This makes me so happy that I get to share the parade with him.
Have you guys seen that movie? It's one of my favorites!
I am making cream puffs to take to Thanksgiving dinner. B helped me measure the flour, sugar and salt. I also let her turn the food processor on and off. She thought it was the most awesome thing in the world to help Mommy bake! She sat in front of the oven watching them. I let her have one as soon as they were baked a cool enough for her (without the filling).
My husband is working my nerve this morning. I have been telling him for two weeks I want to be out the door at 8 am. I want to get to my parents, and enjoy the holiday, and help my sister cook. Its 7:30 and he JUST went into the bathroom. There's no way we are making it on time. But, he's been leaving cereal boxes out, with maybe enough for a quarter of a bowl in each. I don't know why he doesn't just finish the freaking box. And, he mixes cereals for some reason. If he would just eat one kind at a time, he would have enough room in the bowl to finish. So, I've been putting them all back. This morning, he didn't have enough to make a bowl. He looked at me and said "ok. I get your point. Breakfast on me." That's right buddy.
Another one- since we didn't get paid yesterday, I thought for sure Friday. That would mean putting gas and breakfast on a credit card today, which I hate. I just checked out account, just in case, and BAM! payday! Today just became a little less stressful.

I got teary eyed when the parade came on and Tyler started to applaud and yell. I was worried he would reject it and try to force me to change the channel. I can't believe I am watching the parade with my baby and he is enjoying it just as much as me,
Im watching the parade on CBS because it isn't playing on NBC as of yet (damn time change) and it sucks. I am taping the NBC one. CBS guys just talk. And talk. And talk. And talk. The parade goes on in the background but thats it.
We are going to a tree festival today. I love it because it is indoors. Yay!
I just went on Amazon looking for a bathrobe for B to use instead of towels after baths (she gets cold and doesn't like being wrapped in a towel). I didn't like any of them. They were ugly or gaudy and way too expensive. I'm just going to get a pattern and some fabric and make her a robe (or two).

D went to wake up DH who fells asleep on the couch last night. I must have then dozed off because I felt something tapping my face. She was handing me my glasses, then she handed me my phone, and brought me our nursing pillow. Everything needed to start the morning.

Haha! Too cute! Next is to teach her to make coffee!
I still feel like crap and am staggering tylenol and motrin every 3 hours along the z-pack. It kills me to swallow. The men have all left for the Macy's parade leaving Mia and I to fend for ourselves.
She passed out watching Mickey Mouse. This happens...NEVER! My poor girl.
We have all our Christmas shopping mapped out. The girls actually took a nap at the same time in forever and it was super nice. We are heading to in laws in a little bit and will walk there.
My husband and I just drank a ginnormous bottle of wine from Sams, it was delicious.
My best friend was planning to take Luke's christmas pics when she came over later.
AND Luke just got his first black eye... he tripped over Dave's leg and fell straight into the zany zoo cube without putting his hands out at all. His eyebrow took the whole hit. It was right before naptime so he's sleeping now but I think he'll be ok. I think we might still try to do pics. we'll see how bad it is
and I was determined to make an entire egg free thanksgiving. the pumpkin pies look nasty (2 different recipes)- I hope they taste better than they look. I made luke sugar cookies (egg free) that I think taste fine but he keeps asking for cookies all the time then throws them hopefully the food is good!
I just took Alex to the ILs house to nap and put MILl,s casseroles in the oven before going back over to BIL's house where the party is. Since nobody over there is willing to watch her for even a bit and my husband is socializing I am quite all right with this arrangement. Peaceful house to myself Nick has a new art game on the iPad that he is in love with so he is taken care of as well.
I'm inordinately proud of my almost completely from scratch Thanksgiving meal and inordinately annoyed DH didn't like the bread I made, especially since it's a family recipe.
I'm also sad I missed watching the parade because I was cooking.
I'm expecting the same here. Luke will eat all the tofu and fake meat in the world but he can spot meat from a mile away. On the floor it goes while he says "no."
