Also Florida ladies (I'm looking at you, secretlyevilclseale and venice2007), I give you all serious props for running in this weather year round. This was cool? Holy shit. I'm officially rethinking my stance on being anti- winter. You ladies rock.
LOL! I don't know what the temps were on the East coast this AM, but it was in the 60's here, and THAT is pretty cool for this time of year. November is notoriously a shitty month for weather; it's super hit or miss for racing.
Sorry you had such a icky race.... on the bright side, your name isn't tied to it, like you mentioned earlier!

LOL! I don't know how people up north do hills and snow....especially the hills. Congratulations on your first marathon, definitely wear your medal with pride!

I'm sorry I missed you. I meant to check back here but it got super crazy. It was cold and muggy. A yucky combination.

So it sounds like you had some humidity. Yeah, it's a soul suck. We're used to it, but when you 're not, it can really effect performance. Like stingyshark said, November is a weird month here. It's all relative. It 's cool for us, because we were just running in 95* temps with even more humidity 2 months ago. For you , probably not so cool. Sorry, dude.

Congrats!!! Sorry it wasn't all that you wanted, but you did it! Hope it's like me, I wanted a better time, bothered me for a day and then I was over it.
Congrats on being a marathoner, @vtcupcake ! I'm impressed with how hard you worked to get to the start line, let alone the finish! The good thing about a sucky first marathon, is you can get awesome time improvements. I have taken over two hours off my finishing time

Thank you so much!
...does this mean I have a shot someday at being even close to as fast as you are?
I'm no Cinco, but I took 45 min off of my first, 25 off of my 2nd, and another 17 off of my 3rd. You'll kill your next one!

I like your thought process and congrats on your amazing times!
