Who is doing one? I saw one at the grocery store and couldn't buy it fast enough. These could be one of my most favorite things of Xmas. Now hopefully, LO doesn't want to pull open every tab right away because he has such great self control for a 19 month old.
I have this gorgeous cloth one and I admit I don't really understand what I'm supposed to do with it.
Hmmm, a homemade one now, that is cool. Do you hid chocolates every year behind it then? The ones at the store, that is what you get. A little sweet surprise every day to countdown for Xmas.
We had a cloth one growing up that had pockets and a little mouse, and every day you moved the mouse one day closer to Christmas. These are the kind im hoping to score after the holidays.

I don't like internet shopping *ducks from the tomatoes TrudyCampbell is sure to throw *
blasphemy! I feel like I should tip the UPS person for how much is delivered here, but I see different people so I don't think they actually have their own routes.

Did you watch 60 minutes tonight? They had a cool feature on amazon and how these little flying saucers may be delivering our packages in the future.
Not even on Etsy? I would think that would be where the motherload would be for wooden advent calendars.
I like to look at etsy. I just can't commit unless I see things in person.
What can I say? I'm old school.
I can see that though for homemade stuff. I bought a hat there once and I was very nervous until I got it and Loved it. Take the leap of faith before you lose another year!

that sounds kind of awesome/creepy, especially since they call them drones (huh) I wonder what USPS and UPS think about that? that sounds like it would cut a HUGE chunk of their revenue.
We have three...a felt wall hanging one (my sister made it for us, a replica of one we had growing up. A tree with various felt ornaments and you hang one each day), one that's a large box with a small drawer for each day (we put a piece of candy in each one), and this year H has a Lego one (he gets a different Lego piece each day that makes something at the end).
