These are my go to cookies that EVERYONE loves...and they're so easy (and gluten free)!
1 cup peanut butter (creamy or crunchy) 1 cup brown sugar 1 egg lightly beaten 1 tsp baking soda 1 cup chocolate chips, reeses pieces, M&M (you can also choose to not put the chips in and top it with a Hershey kiss or reeses PB cups immediately after taking them out of the oven)
Preheat oven to 350* Mix all ingredients together with a spoon until blended (do not use a mixer) Drop by spoonful's onto a greased cookie sheet Bake 9-10 minutes Let cool and remove from cookie sheet.
Okay, I've been obsessing since you posted your recipe.
What do you think of them with caramel baking chips, sea salt and crushed up pretzels?
Too much?
I've never done anything differently to them but you can certainly try it (maybe half regular, half with something else to see how they taste?). They're really gooey so you may not want to put too much extra in there otherwise they may not stay in cookie form.
A winning cookies depends on the crowd. Generally, I'm not a huge fan of cookies that are loaded with things and super sweet. Magic in the Middles - more kid friendly but a sufficient balance of cocoa for adults.
