I dropped a grand at Tory Burch after Thanksgiving. But they were having 30% off on the website, which is super rare, so felt I had to do it. I might return a pair or two of the shoes though. I bought sandals and I am reminded that I just don't like buying things out of season because I can't really tell if I'll actually want them when summer comes.
I also bought a Prada clutch. I love it and I use my Prada clutches forever so I actually think it's a good deal!
I just bought an enormous dining table and chairs from Restoration Hardware that seats 14 people. There's only two of us and we almost always eat dinner on our couch, lol. But it looks so good in our new place!

I went shopping with MIL to a small village nearby that has a touristy shopping street with a bunch of country boutiques. I bought a barn star, a sweater, and $100 worth of wool that I need like a hole in the head (but it's Madelinetosh and the first time I've ever seen it stocked in person). I wasn't supposed to buy anything.
We are building a new (bigger, fancier) house when our current house is only 6 years old. BUT the lot we bought to build on is SWEET (bigger, with massive trees in the backyard). We can afford it but I'm sure a few of our IRL friends will side-eye us for moving out of our current house already.
We ordered a car that we really don't need but WANT. And it's on a lease. Don't report me to MM!
I honestly don't understand why MM always gets in such a snit over a lease. I mean sure you pay for a car you don't own in the end but how is that miles different than renting? I can see how in certain circumstances it's a better financial decision. Just like renting can be wiser than buying a house for some people.
Other than that, I don't think I really waste money.
Is the gestational diabetes making things difficult for you (enjoying food wise) or is it not going as bad as it could be?
Not so bad. I'm generally pretty good about it during weekdays and am more relaxed on the weekends (when we are traveling).
It is pretty crazy how big an impact cutting carbs has had on me. I lose three or four pounds every week during the weekdays and gain it all back on the weekend for a net-zero result. My doctor just looked at my weight (and the zero gain) and praised me for "following the diet."
If she only knew. LOL.
If I truly followed it through and through, I wonder if I would've lost 12 pounds by now.
I don't regret buying many things. But some people would think the amount I have spent on baby clothes, eating out, travel, and clothes for myself would be splurges.
I love that robe. And I'm not a huge VB fan in general, but I like robes with pretty patterns.
I have bought:
a gift for me with just about every holiday something that I have purchased this season a case of Lindt Peanut Butter truffles more fundraiser candy bars than I care to admit form a co-workers kiddos. Hey, it's for a good cause!!
I've been splurging hardcore on coffee and car share rentals. It's too damn cold to be walking around/not drinking coffee. At the rate I'm spending on the cars I should just buy my own already.
This is why we are buying a car. And we don't take the cheap cars either- "Oh, the audi is only a $2 more an hour than the ford! Why not?" It is terrible. Between zip car, uber, and the negative temps we've had lately, we've spent way more than we would on a car payment.
I have spent a lot of money on both myself and others for Christmas but I cannot think of one thing that's judgeworthy. I did get side-eyed for the axe I bought H for Christmas, I have no idea why, lol. She never came back to the post.
I did buy H a $20 of Pinot Nior for Christmas and we drank it when we were iced in this past week. So now I have to buy him another nice bottle of wine, lol.
