I've always thought our first would be a boy, but since I got pregnant I go between thinking it's a girl or a boy pretty evenly. So basically I have no intuition!
I think I'm doomed to have all boys though (not that it's a bad thing!) There have been no "our lastname" girls born in five or six generations. We women just marry in, so I'm not sure if we'll be the ones to break the unintentional tradition.
Whoa, that is some track record! You'll have to update us.
I know! It's a bit daunting, really. We want lots of kids, so I'm hoping for a girl in there somewhere. I'll update you in 10-12 weeks!
I really thought it was a girl during the first tri. Everyone else thought it was a boy though. During the second tri, I had absolutely no feeling whatsoever about the sex of the baby. I don't deny that I was still surprised it was a girl when we found out last week. I'm sure I would have been just as surprised about a boy lol I think intuition has about a 50/50 chance of being right

My uncle's family is like that. 5 generations of boys. His nephew finally had a little girl. The first girl in that line in 5 generations! My first thought though was did his wife cheat?? That sounds awful, but when a family hasn't had a girl in that long it does make people wonder when it isn't another boy All that to say, that even in the predominately male lines, it is still totally possible to have a girl!
I totally thought it was a girl and was surprised during the ultrasound when the tech said look what we have here (penis)! I thought intuition would be right but it wasn't for me.
I didn't have a strong feeling, but everyone around me thought it was a girl. After suffering a previous m/c I was just delighted to reach the anatomy scan and was trying not to go into it with any strong opinions. The U/S tech asked me if I had a feeling and I just said that everyone thought it was a girl and she said, very casually, "Well, everyone is wrong!" and the air kind of left the room for a second and we were all speechless!

I thought I was having at least one girl with my fraternal twins. The week before the ultrasound, I had a dream that I was at the appointment and the doctor said it was twin boys, which ended up coming true at the actual appointment! So my intuition was off, but my dream was spot on.
