A fried egg on your hamburger?

Nooooo. I hate runny eggs. I can do scrambled or omelettes if they're cooked within an inch of their life and dry as heck.

I like eggs, but I'm usually a burger purist. Medium rare with LTM. Sometimes cheese.

Fried egg on pizza is pretty tasty, though.

I have seen this on menus before and often thought it sounded promising, but I've never quite been able to get myself past the idea of "heart attack on a plate" enough to try it.

I used to think "hell no" - but then I tried a burger called "The Arnold Hamandegger" at one of our local favorite restaurants, Cowfish (they serve burgers and sushi). It is a beef burger topped with cheddar cheese, grilled Black Forest ham, fried egg, applewood smoked bacon and grilled onions, served on an onion roll. It was SO GOOD. I'm almost drooling thinking about it.
