So. This is the first year that I'm actually going to go out and do something fun and irresponsible on New Year's Eve. I'm going bar-hopping/clubbing with some friends down at the oceanfront. I cannot decide what to wear. I am easily influenced.
Here are my options:
1: Green, long sleeve, super-short/tight velvet dress paired with black tights and a) green heels b) leopard heels or c) drunk/dance friendly all-black high top chucks. It's been super cold recently so it scores high in the practicality zone, but I also think velvet could get hot in a crowded club type of scene.
2: Black, striped dress. I like it, but bought it before I lost weight so it's not as form fitting as I think it's supposed to be. Can be paired with the shiny black shoes pictured that I would probably hurt myself wearing, or any of the options from #1.
3: Multi-way dress, but it would be in purple (the green one pictured was used to make a costume lol). Super sexaaay, but requires a strapless bra, which is annoying. Not sure what shoes/accessories I'd wear with it.
4: Skinny jeans and some sort of sparkely top? I don't know. This would be my last resort since I know the bitches who hang out at the oceanfront go all out just for regular weekends and I want to fit in with the heeeeerd.
Help me. I'm clueless, but I'm leaning towards #1 at this point. (huh)

I like 1 and 3. I'm not a jeans and t-shirt girl, though. I'm a dress and heels girl. I would wear whatever YOU feel most comfortable and forget about the herd. If YOU want to wear a dress and heels, DO IT! if you are only doing it to fit in, go with #4.

I have a love/hate relationship with dress 3. The excessively expensive strapless bra that has to be worn with it is not comfortable and isn't good for a ton of movement/dancing. But, I look so fiiiiiine in it.
I'm normally a 100% practical/comfortable girl, but I really like to dress up given a reason to.
