We will make dinner or apps and chill at home. My Mom said she would babysit but money is tight this week due to some big bills that were due -we are probably going to a movie and to dinner on NYD instead using gift cards
We are hosting three other families for a casual family friendly happy hour/dinner from 5 to whenever the kids last (it will not be anywhere near midnight). We will have 8 adults and 11 kids (all 6 and under), so it will be loud and rowdy, just not the kind of loud and rowdy people generally associate with NYE.
No idea. My friends are super disorganized this year. Some friends from CA are in town this week and usually dictate the plans but are doing so as clearly this time. Everyone has been sick lately too which isn't helping
We may end up just going out to dinner or telling people to come to our place if they want. We had a party Sat, but impromptu is fine here. The house is already clean and there is plenty of booze left.
A rodeo. I met a guy bow hunting and we've been friends, but he seems to want more and asked to get together when he get's off at 11, so I think we'll hit the rodeo dance together. Should be fun and we'll see what's there.
Video games, board games, and pizza/apps with the kids. We will have wine/champagne and try not to stay up too late. We will likely have a house full on New Year's Day to watch football and relax.
It's the 10 year anniversary of when we decided to be a couple (I had been playing the field for the first two months we were dating.)
I was thinking fancy dinner out, hotel, brunch the next day. He was thinking staying in, watching bad movies and eating frozen appetizers. He won, LOL!
Maybe going to a party at a small concert venue. If I decide to ditch H for my BFF. Maybe hanging with him at home. Guess I should get on the plans, eh?
We have dinner reservations, then we are going to an open bar party at a bar in Philly. We're spending the night at a hotel, then will get brunch/watch the mummer's parade the next day.
ETA: Also, I get to go to a neuro follow-up first thing in the morning, so I don't know that I'll even make it to 12.
We're probably going to be packing, since we are back to work on Thursday and this is our final bit of free time before we close on our house!
We're going to go out to dinner and a movie tonight, since it's the anniversary of the day we met. Tomorrow we'll order food in and grab a couple Redbox movies to have on in the background while packing.
Nothing. We were going to host a small group, but our entire household has been fighting fevers and horrible cold/flu symptoms for the past few days so we canceled. I am happy to stay in, lounge, and snuggle DD and DS all day/night!

We arrived in Marrakech this evening so tomorrow will be going to an all night dinner/dancing/entertainment party at our riad(which is gorgeous in case anyone is planning a trip here). Our suite has two full terraces. A great way to emerge from the desert, which was also an incredible experience.

I've been really looking forward to doing nothing and going to bed early, but my BFF (a single guy who should be out at a bar) called and said he was coming over and we should plan a party. I told him he could come over but no guarantee H and I were making it to midnight. I don't know why he thinks being at our house is any better than being at his house!
I am going to PARTY..!!! My best brother is organizing a new year bash at his home, and its casino themed. He had attended a casino themed party earlier this year orgainixed by the Superior Events Group Inc and had decided to throw one himself. Got the chance only today. There will be Casino show girls, black jack table rentals, roulette table rentals, gaming tables and slot machines and everything else to make the casino party a real Vegas experience. We have been looking forward to this party for about two weeks and now its so near. Gotta go guys, have to get ready for the party.

Sitting on the couch and drinking champagne and cranberry juice. This is the first time in 10 + years I will be alone on NYE, so it'll be a day to reflect too.

Same with us! 12/31/03 he asked me to be his girlfriend, lol.
Dh is working til 8 or so. We plan on pj's and wine this evening. I may head out to a store and pick up some fancy apps if I get motivated. Our best friends live on our street and they mentioned stopping in for a drink. We are pretty low key on nye.
