I'm contemplating whether or not it's worth complaining to US Airways about our flight crews.
What happened?
One flight crew was sitting in the waiting area next to us waiting to board, and they were making fun of a passenger on another one of their flights with special needs....imitating his speech, making really rude comments, ect. They also made some pretty unprofessional jokes while serving drinks on board... derogatory comments about welfare and Obamacare and that sort of thing.
The flight attendant on our other flight was just downright rude. It was a smaller commuter jet and there were five other passengers besides us. We had paid for upgraded seats with extra leg room, and we were in the second row behind first class. No one sat in the row in front of us and there was more room, so after everyone had boarded we asked if we could switch. No. I guess one of the other five people on the flight moved seats and the attendant flipped out and started yelling over the intercom about how no one was permitted to change seats and everyone needed to stay in the seat they were assigned because that was the seat they paid for, blah blah blah. Then she was snotty to my kid when he made the mistake of requesting chocolate milk. "We don't have that. This isn't a restaurant!" Someone else asked what drinks were available, and she was all rude to him, and then she got back on the intercom and berated everyone for not reading the info in the seatback that listed all the options.

Yep! Surprisingly well. Of course, when I take them off, I tear up.
It's so bad that if DH is cutting an onion in the kitchen, my eyes will start to burn while I'm sitting in the living room. My level of sensitivity is ridiculous.
Maybe these people don't have a sensitivity to onions?
People have told me to eat a piece of bread while I am cutting up the onion, but it has never worked for me.
I've tried everything. The only thing that works besides the goggles is to put the onion halves in the freezer before dicing or slicing. It's not perfect, but it definitely help.
Onions don't really bother DH, so I'm sure there are people out there who aren't bugged by them.
I made 4 lasagnas today. Three for the freezer and one for dinner. I am seriously enjoying having a giant freezer that takes up half of my laundry room. Dh was right, dammit. I also have homemade meat sauce, homemade pot pie filling, and like 6,000 servings of raw meat in there. And then some frozen veggies, frozen side dishes that I got with a gift card and extra bread and cheese and stuff.
We took the tree down tonight, which is sad. I hate the day of taking down Christmas decorations. I also may not have put away all our Christmas gifts until tonight either
It is still snowing here. We may get 3-5". I am so over the snow, even though it's pretty. I hate driving in it, and our subdivision never gets plowed.

If you pop an onion in the freezer for a few minutes before you peel it, it will not burn your eyes. I usually pop one in while I am chopping any other veggies I need to, then take it out. Works every time!
I am ready to kill my H. He just stormed off saying that he needed a break, because I have been on him about doing stuff around the house. NO SHIT FUCKER, you've been sitting on your ass for 5 days. Get off your ass and do something!
stephm0188, you should absolutely complain. Most of that could be considered complaint-worthy. All of it together? Appalling.
LauraMoser, I really hope his current company doesn't follow through. When does he have to respond to this other offer? Fingers crossed for you guys!
Haha I am hoping so too! He had already accepted offer from new company, and as far as they know, is starting there Monday. :/ He had gotten an offer letter from his current company as well, but there have been some changes made to that initial offer and he hasn't signed anything with them.
I will be sure to update tomorrow though. Thanks for the good thoughts!
Wha!? Dude needs a reality check. Does he actually think they're going to just up and fire someone in the next two days?

I do this too! It helps, but not completely. Still, much better than the alternative.

Lol! Yes, he does. According to what he has been told, they have a good plan in place for it tomorrow. Still plenty of room for them to implode, but there is a plan. He will be working with his boss to send emails and call all their clients while the VP and HR are in doing the firing. He showed me that email tonight. I have asked him about what happens if something crazy happens where he is the one let go or something instead of the problem guy. He's adamant that that is not what's happening. You know, now that I'm thinking about this with a clearer head than earlier, I do wonder why they didn't have this plan in place for Monday, which was when this was originally supposed to go down? Hmm....
Regardless of which company he lands at on Monday, the pay will be substantially more. We've been discussing our plans for the extra money and we'll finally be able to snowball our debts and be rid of everything but student loans and the mortgage within 9-18 months. How exciting is that?! I've only been dreaming of doing this for the past five years.
Well the extra pay is certainly nice! Congrats on that!
Keep me updated. I'm very curious about where he'll end up next week.
