I don't think it's weird, I think it's interesting that ML is bucking the 50% divorce rate.
Well, that stat is misleading and is less applicable to this board. 50% of marriages end in divorce but second and subsequent marriages are more likely to end in divorce than first marriages. Our generation is less likely to divorce than previous ones. People with at least a BA/BS are less likely to divorce than those with high school only. Add in age (most of us are under 40 - so many more years to divorce left) and the self selecting nature of a "married life" chat board and I'm not surprised.
Zero, but you never know. We joke about how divorce would be too much work because of our rental and vacation properties so we would just stay married and hope we eventually want to be married again.

I've been divorced once. I was just thinking that if I ever got divorced again I would never get married again. It does make me sad to thinkabout it because I would be so devastated if my marriage didn't work out and I would be pretty done anyway. I don't think I could reopen myself to feel that much pain again.
Once. I like to refer to him as my starter husband.
Practice Husband (PH) here.
Or Turnip (getting money from him is like getting blood from a...) or Toad (no matter how many times I kissed him he never did turn into Prince Charming.)
