Bad news ladies, the Taj doesn't have room for us on the 25th, so need to pick a different place.
Who knew that high tea was so popular?!
Yeah, I had no idea, I even asked if they would separate us into two tables, but was a no go. I'll call around to the other places and see who can fit us in.
Ok ladies we have a reservation. I tried the Langham but got no answer for dining reservations, tried the Ritz but they aren't doing tea anymore, so I went with the Four Seasons as I was running out of options.
They could only take all 13 of us at 3:30 so will be a little later that was previously agreed upon, hopefully that will work for everyone!

Can I get away with dark jeans and a nice top? Please say yes.
I'd say yes. Last time we went was for a baby shower and the person of honor wore nice jeans I usually wear a skirt, and will be again, since my jeans are ripped at the knee.
Sorry for taking so long to come back to this thread, it's been a very busy week with org and unpacking and all the other trappings of a new house. I saw we had to move times, unfortunately I think that might be cutting it a little too close for me as I have a commitment that night. I was hoping to do both, but will have to back out of this one. vtdiamond - couod you please remove me from the list? Thanks!

I feel so lame for backing out on a second GTG!
Thanks for letting me know, sorry you won't be joining us, I will adjust the reservation.

YOU GUYS! I am so, so sorry.
My pug is having surgery tomorrow to remove a cancerous tumor from his leg. I went out to Grafton today to the Tufts vet hospital for my oncology consult, and they are like, he needs surgery immediately - like tomorrow.
He is most likely staying over night tomorrow (he is home now) but I will need to pick him up on Saturday and then he needs constant supervision to make sure he isn't a) messing with his incision and b) resting quietly.
So I am going to have to cancel. I am so, so sorry to miss you guys.
vtdiamond, do you want me to call and amend the reservation for one less person? I feel really bad about you having to make one million phone calls.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it. And see my post on MM for my crazy car trouble - I seriously thought at one point that both H and I were going to be stranded in North Grafton (kind of BFE for this area) without a car and with our dog.

Totally understandable, no need to apologize, we'll miss you! I don't mind calling tomorrow to change the reservation.
